Have you ever played an H-game?

And no, I don't just mean Divine Sealing either.

I haven't played many. I have played some of the Baldr series which was originally an H-game but as it got more popular the adult content was edited out. Not that it really made an impact on the always excellent gameplay.

A friend sent me Divi-Dead years ago, which I still have, but I haven't played through it yet. It's an erotic/horror game.

I am also tempted to play Enzai -falsley accused-, I'm told the story is somewhat inspired by The Count of Monte Cristo.

Of course alot of H-games are regarded as laughable because of their absurd content and theme (like Jewel Knights Crusaders) but some of them are supposed to have good stories despite the adult content, like Kanon and Fate/stay night, some of the more popular ones.

I agree with Rusty though. But !oh man! it's tré cool to see hot anime girls in video-games.
Take that Silk character in Cotton Boomerang for example (which isn't even an "H-game"). I fell in love with her at the moment I laid my eyes on her cut scenes! ;)

To be honest I don't really play them for that kind of gratification, as I don't find hentai (or most illustrated porn) to be very enticing, so I'd prefer real images in that case. For the most part it usually just strikes me as another kind of art, more or less. I think alot of the games however are so absurd though it's pretty funny, but I want to see what the 'better' games are supposed to be like and if they are indeed any good.

I do find well-drawn hentai sexy, but I have never bothered to play such a game. Maybe porting Valis X to MD would be cool though. :D

I'd suggest Tsukihime (there exists an english fanpatch for that game). It's really got a great, compelling story (yeah, that's generally not something you'd expect from an H-Game, does it?)

I've heard of it, and I'll definately try it sometime. It was developed using the famous NScripter engine, just like Fate/stay night.
