I've put over 10 hours into it since yesterday (played until 4:15 this morning!), and I must say that few RPGs have enthralled me as this one has. Everything is top notch, from the incredible cell shaded visuals and orchestrated score to the deep-but-not-extremely-complicated alchemy system. The difficulty level is perfect and the encounter rate is about as tight as random encounters can be.
I'm in the town of Simpleton (lol) and am heading back to the abbey to save the abbott again. I've spent the last hour of playtime just mixing things up in the alchemy pot and made a cool holy lance!
This is definitely a contender for my game of the year, and it's by far the best RPG I've played since the original KOTOR.
Anyone pick this up?
