I have an X'Eye, and lately it's been acting up with Sega CD games. I'll be playing a game, and the audio will suddenly become really scratchy and garbled and sound horrible for about 2 seconds, and then it goes back to normal. It does this at completely random times throughout gameplay. It doesn't do this when playing carts, nor with playing audio CDs.

wtf?

Does this happen with all your games, or just the one?

Try cleaning your CD - even if it doesn't seem to need it. If it still won't work, try playing the CD in an audio CD player - the games store CD audio from Track 02 onwards (track 01 being the game data). If the music sounds garbled THEN, then your CD is faulty. Otherwise, your Mega-CD lens could need cleaning.

It's all the games. I guess it could be the lens, but playing audio CDs doesn't have this problem.
