Sonic 1 Level Select

I just realized that the Sonic 1 level select does not work with my 32X for some reason. I tried both Sonic Classics and standalone Sonic 1. The level select still works with the Genesis alone. Does this happen to anyone else? :confused:

32X and its ribbon cables can have some really funny effects sometimes... I have gotten some rather strange controller input issues, even without controller !!! Only way was to use some pencil eraser on the ribbon cable ends...

Level select works perfectly for me.

The Stage Select cheat always worked for me, whether the 32X was plugged into the Genesis or not.
