Good article. I would like to have seen a bit more substance (it kind of skips from getting started to hardware saturation), but still an interesting read.

Quite a bittersweet day today is.........it also marks the 20th anniversary since Sega unleashed their golden boy Yuji Naka's arcade port masterwork..............SUPAA SUNDAA BRADE!!! to the world. 20 years later, it's still the worst of the MD's first-gen software and amongst the Top 10 worst Genesis games EVER.........yet it was still included in the "Sega Genesis Collection.

Get over it, Aarzak.
This article was surprisingly well-written, but yeah, they skipped quite a bit of the most interesting years.

I have composed a little song for the day....any 60ies beat-band claiming this was a rip-off is surely lying!;)
It was twenty years ago today,
Service Games taught the Genny to play
Itīs been going in and out of style
But itīs guaranteed to raise a smile.
So may I introduce to you
The act you've known for all these years,
Segaīs 16-Bit Mega Drive

I'll get over your avatar constantly mocking me every time I see it before THAT. :p
You do know that it's just some dumb running joke right? Like Mr. Smith's disdain for anything Genesis Knight..........oops, bad example? :D

Haha, maybe STB fits better as a joke rather than as a game :D.
