Hey guys, I was just wondering if anyone on here has played this game because I am writing a RBI Baseball Genre Spotlight and this is the only one I dont own. So, if anyone knows anything about this game or plays it at all, if they could give a basic rundown, thatd be thweet.

Just emulate it... I will tell you that it is pretty pissin' rare. Did Tengen really have anything to do with it? I thought they died back in 1993?

I love Tengen...I've seen the game around before. I'll have to look again, the cool part is most people don't think ANY sports games are rare and I may be able to swish my way into getting the cart dirt cheap.

I have a few ideas.

I bid on it on Ebay complete and it ended up going for over 50 bucks.

And I run on a mac, and from as far as I know, there arent any sega CD or 32X emulators.

There are a few videos of it on youtube that arent very descriptive. I can't omit it, so I will do as much research as I can on it.

Also David, for some reason Time Warner did this one. They have often been bad news when it comes to sports games.

Gens can play Sega CD games and it runs in X11 on Mac (though it is buggy as hell and goes into psychedelic trip mode when you try to run it full screen), but as for 32X...nothing. If you have parallels or bootcamp you can run Fusion in Windows XP, which is what I do. Surely you must have a PC using friend that you can computer jack for a few hours to assess it with, I mean, you could download the emulator and RBI 95 to a jump drive and not even install it on their PC. Strangely enough Gens has slots to configure 32X BIOS, but it won't work...

...and on that note, I cannot figure out where the hell I got Gens from. None of the versions I can find will install, so my mysterious working version of Gens seems to be from nowhere...

edit: found that bitch: http://www.macscene.net/wiki/index.php/MacGens

still no 32X though...but at least you get some Sega CD love :)

World Series Baseball with Deion Sanders is much harder to find for the 32X than is RBI Baseball. I've had my copy for years. I don't think it's vastly different than the Genesis version other than more colors and slightly better graphics. If I get a chance tonight I'll pull it out and take a look. I have to install a new water heater in the house first though.

if you wanna just buy it:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B001D45QWY/ref=dp_olp_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1226011986&sr=8-2

and yes, I'm sure its the 32x, first of all because it says so in the description and second of all because there wasn't a regular Genesis version of the game.

I drove to a Play N Trade way out in Onley, MD which is pretty far out and they had a 32X cart only copy of WSB for the 32X. It prolly was cheap, and still there..

Roadtrip?

I have the EGM issue (#73, August 1995) which reviews RBI '95 32X and they gave it decent at best reviews in the '7's. Not worth wasting $50 over. Kega Fusion, no more questions asked. It should be able to play the game.......oh, you've got a Mac. Well, I assume that there's something out there, but Fusion is THE BEST Genesis/SCD/32X emulator out there bar none.

Don't bother purchasing RBI '95 or WSB 32X (which is really just the 32X version of WSB '95 with a couple of graphics/sound enhancements). Hell, don't waste more than $10 for any single 16-Bit sports title.

It has been mentioned, that he can use Bootcamp to get it working on a Mac... But whatever.

I swore RBI was pretty common like on '00 or so when I started up gaming collecting again. I didn't know until recently, hence my previous post in this thread stating that it's rare.

I don't touch 32X much anymore, so meh.
