Anyone know if Doki Doki Penguin Land MD was released on cart?

Good ol' reliable Wikipedia says it was available for download via the Japanese equivalent of the Sega Channel...but multiple sources state it came out in 1991. It's not region locked; looks and sounds like an early MD release; but I can't find any box art, etc.

Nope, it wasn't released on cart AFAIK. There is only the download version on Guardiana.

No, it wasn't. It was available via download-only, just like Sonic Eraser and a handful of other cute, small games.

No cart release, but I think the game was released on Sega Games Can vol 2, along with some other download-only games.

Get a Tototek flash card and flash it on, its a fantastic little game thats often overlooked!

Did Link Dragon ever see a cart release? I can't find any info about it other than the rom. Guardiana seems to be stumped, too. Any info about this mystery title would be highly appreciated!
