Wow! Just listen to the voice of that guy!

I'm torn between laughing out loud or freaking the hell out!
Seriously, does that guy sound creepy or what?

Other than the puny audio system, I find this room really nice.

Wow, nice if you have Money for that..Paint and lights and time. His parents probably funded that for him. What happens when the 360 gets older hmmm not as cool anymore

No kidding! I could see making an Atari, NES, Genesis, or Playstation 1 themed room, but SNES, Saturn, PS2, etc. etc. just doesn't work. If you want to make a theme room, you gotta go with the original system (I know Genesis wasn't original, but Master System was equivalent to the game and watch games from Nintendo in terms of popularity).

...or just breaks.

no kidding, he should've had a big portrait of a RROD and an in house repair center, lol.

Really and truly it wasn't that spectacular, I only saw a small handful of 360 games. More than anything it just looked like a bad 70's shag chair affair with green walls.

This guy has a much better premise:

now THAT is a room I would aspire to.

Damn that's a serious collection. I want his metroid calender.
That other dude with the X-box room was def creepy. That room sucked.

I just have two words:

NERD ALERT!

But the mini fridge in the wall is pretty cool.

That is a beautiful room.
Wish I could do the same here, maybe when I move to a larger apartment/house.

The 360 room or the NES room?

The only thing that I really hate about the 360 room is the lime green color. I know it is used on the system, and is alright in small amounts, but not covering entire walls.

The guy sounds like Adam Sandler.

Now that I think about it, I do think that guy should have started his video off by saying "The price is WRONG, bitch!"

I think it looks pretty tacky. Sure, he has a large collection but his setup is really messy. Plus it's probably a bitch to dust.

I think the room has a nice look to it but it doesn't have much in it as far as gaming, it's all show. I would love to do a room with a theme sometime.

I love just how the guy just exudes enthusiasm in his video!:?

He does sound like Adam Sandler. He would have been spot on if he had said, "Aww baby, I didn't mean that. I say those things sometimes because I get scared . . . scared of being a nobody."

oh, agreed, definitely, that is a huge clusterfuck of games. "yeah, I'm just gonna dump all the XBOX games here, and PS2 games, yeah, just one big pile, fuck it" TBH it looks like its half done, one of those "so we painted the room but I am SOOO tired and I don't feel like organizing all that shit right now."

Daaamn...I never have the desire to own so many video games. I'm happy with what I've got now roughly 150 games, and some spare systems. There are only two games left that I really want. I mean, my dream would be to have a game room with my Genesis/Saturn posters, a nice TV and a shelf or two for my systems and games.

That room would also have a pool table, a Zaxxon arcade cabinet, a bar, an awesome stereo system and a nice couch.

And it wouldn't be in the least cluttered as my butler would constantly keep it clean.

I have too many hobbies as it is, I only play video games maybe 2-4 hours a week...it will take me my entire life to get through what I've got. Owning every video game that ever came out on every system ever does not appeal to me in the least.

I agree. I actually feel guilty about the number of games I have that I haven't played.

I kind of already have my dream game room right now. Just a corner desk with a TV and a bunch of consoles hooked up to it and a bookshelf for my games. If love to have a cocktail arcade cabinet though, to the tune of either Donkey Kong or Donkey Kong Jr

I don't feel guilty at all about having games I rarely play because every game I buy is a game I intend to play (I never buy haphazardly, the rare exception is if I find a lot with good deals) and I take better care of my stuff than 99.9999% of America so I consider myself a custodian of video game history. I want to just have a big fuckin game room with kind of a nightclub/bar theme to it (possibly even a bar) and maybe a few fooseball/pool type games, definitely a MAME arcade, possibly 1 or 2 OEM arcades, and the full functioning hydraulic OutRun. Then, I'll have a big awesome couch and a full on balls-to-the-wall sound system with shelves and shelves of systems all hooked up through a sophisticated switchbox network. Needless to say, it will probably be the only room in the house I will ever stay in.

I was definitely more impressed with the NES room, but if I had to do a game room, I would only have my Genesis, import Saturn, and my PS3 games as they are really the only consoles I buy anything for or play. I'd also like to have either a Crazy Taxi or Outrun arcade, and either a Time Crisis 3 or Area 51 cabinet, whichever I could find.

wow the time that people have to spare...

I came damn close to getting a donkey Kong original arcade machine in great condition for cheap but backed out at the last minute. Probably a good thing as I got fired a few days later and I'm penniless atm. I would really like an arcade of either Lucky n Wild or perhaps street fighter 2 or space invaders but probably will never happen.

Having a room completely dedicated to gaming seems kinda silly unless its the garage or something. I mean im nerdy, but not that nerdy to paint my walls like a videogame or something

I knew someone who had a "Warlords" cocktail table in his living room. That was pretty cool.

It might be cool to have themed room if it was done right. A Nes theme with the dark sky and stars wouldn't be to hard to pull off. Maybe a giant R.O.B. on one of the walls. The Nintendo cabinets would pretty good there. A Sega theme with the grid wouldn't be to hard to pull either just a little more time consuming. I imho I don't think any system after the 16-bit era is lovable enough to have a whole room based off of. Hell they are already shoving this stuff down our throats as it is.

I agree: the classic systems are cool. modern systems are just a little too dorky. Even the original playstation would be pushing it.
