Sorry to make a crappy thread, but Joe Redifer had a thread named "WTF" and now I share his fear.

Mainly 0:17 - 0:27. I mean seriously, in a Pizza commercial.

P.S. - Onion Hitler at 0:16, top right. (but thats not why I'm scared)

Not really, but it added to the general fear. Apparently in Japan, the rest of the planet has fake haircuts and mustaches.

its not that bad, though you gotta admit the Japanese do make some weird shit. I don't see why America always gets a country/western stereotype, it is such a small niche of people that actually own horses/wear cowboy hats/talk with stupid accents (sorry, its a stupid fuckin accent)/git-r-dun. I know we stereotype that all Japanese people live in bamboo houses and stuff, but most of us are smart enough to not imply its a modern setting yet still put them in a bamboo hut. I think a more accurate American stereotype would be a man in a business suit slitting another man's throat for a $5 bill, that's what I usually see happen in America (figuratively speaking at least).

Japan tends to flip flop between "thats fucking awesome" and "what the fuck are they thinking?"

Examples:

Fucking Awesome - Tyris Flare Gashapon figure. Most DVD boxsets. Godzilla figures.

WTF- this

I suppose its the ying and yang...but every 3-4 good things are canceled out by one big WTF thing.

You've tried flapping your arms while defecating?

I just find it amazing that it is a workout video *and* English lesson. Someone or a group of someones came up with the idea that combining the two was a *good* idea and then actually made it happen.

Too bad it doesn't do either one right.

They have the strangest and most creative sense of humors in the world. I mean they are just out there.

Have you ever seen their game shows? All I have to say is.....wtf

To be honest I have seen quite a few old japanese movies in my day (Seven Samurai, Sanjuro, Yojimbo, Battles without Honor and Humanity, Guns and Talk, Married to the Mafia) All of these movies were devoid of insanity and had some pretty good humor, even for them. Where the hell does this other crap come from.

Uhmm... Guns and Talk isn't a Japanese movie, it's Korean. (That, and the movie sucked :o )

Don't you want to comment on anything else in the reply other than your crass disapproval of "Guns and Talk"?

Do you brush your teeth with a fluoride tooth paste?

I'm angry at Japan for bombing pearl harbor. Not because they bombed it or started the war or anything. I mean, I guess I understand their motives.

I'm angry because their attack gave Michael Bay the ability to make yet another stupendously idiotic movie.

I despise no other man in this world more than Ben Affleck. He makes me want to go into a violent fury everytime I look at him. Especially when he looks happy. Makes me even more enraged.

Get a real job Ben!

A better search would be "topless relay race".

Instead of passing off the...whatever....when the women have to suck/lick whipped cream off the previous ones nipples. The last one has to go perform fellatio on a guy, and the first one to get their guy off wins.

No I did not make this up...because if I did there wouldn't be a dude involved at all.

I can't make shit up about Japan because someone over there had already thought up and done stuff that is 300x more bizarre than anything I could think up.

I've seen Yojimbo, that was a pretty good movie, better than alot of the shit America made back then.

OMG, REALLY! FINALLY! a place that hates Michael Bay as much as I do! I ranted on and on about what a total shit pile Transformers is/was. Everyone just said "OMG dude! did you see that blow up!" and I was like "yes, and it made ABSOLUTELY NO FUCKING SENSE!" Of course you can't expect a movie about cars that turn into robots to be 100% realistic, you can at least make it believable to SOME extent. What was that meeting like "OK, we're down to two choices: we can make the robots be a government project for stealth surveillance gone wrong a la Terminator and Mega Man, or we can be fucking stupid and make them from outer space with no justifiable reason for turning into cars or make any sense at all in terms of how they are contstructed, yeah, lets go with that stupid one."

God, I hate Michael Bay. His movies all have a distinct look and feel to them, as if he's just crying out for someone acknowledge that he's trying to make an artistic, stylized action flick with uber-cheesy dramatic moments. He always uses Hans Zimmer, so all of the sound tracks sound the same.

I hate myself for liking any of his movies, and I hate the fact that Crimson Tide is associated with that god-awful filmmaker.

Fuck him.

I like "Bad Boys", thats about it.

But that is probably more to do with Will "aww hell naw" Smith and Martin "Yo Gina!" Lawrence.

Rusty Venture

Prior to that movie I only recall her being in some early 90's TV comedy.

Plus I don't think shes got a catch phrase to put in quotes.

MrMatthews

I never saw her in anything before Bad Boys (which I didn't like because I refused to accept Will "Parents Just Don't Understand" Smith as a badass and I hate Martin Lawrence).

To me she just gets better looking, though.

Hmm . . . well, she's no Charlize Theron, but there's something very sexy about her in a slightly "older woman" kind of way.

Jennifer Aniston has aged just as well, I think.
