A good JRPG that suffers from all the ills typical of JRPGs: cliched plot, horrible character designs, and wooden dialogue. The combat played a major part in my finishing it, however, as it was really nice to fight in real-time and use some cool special attacks. I absolutely HATED the real-time menu system though. The game sort of falls apart at the end, with the bullshit last dungeon and lame last boss fight.

I still like to play these types of games now and then, but I don't see how much more life the genre has left in it. Japan has basically been recycling the same formula for more than a decade, and it's really showing its age.

I'd already beaten it solo, but a friend and I decided to tackle the whole thing co-op. It took us only two days, and now I realize just how short this game is. The online play was only slightly laggy this time around, and I actually found the last two hidden orbs I needed!

I just don't know why, this afternoon I got an irresistible craving for Choplifter on the SMS. The first thing I did when I came home was fire up the old Sega 8-bit joy machine and give it a go.

I had already beaten it in the past, but I don't care. It's 2009 and it's here, first game I beat this year! I made it through loop 4-2, totaling 1.660.600 points, when I turned into a massive 2x16 POW killer... :?

Anyway, this game is still awesome after all these years. And I think I never got to see ET's bike fly in stage 4 until today! ;)

I actually did it on the 31st December - but I finally got all 1000gs on Virtua Fighter 5 on the 360. It was seriously doing my head in because quest mode was taking so damn long, but I persevered and finally did it. I'm not going anywhere near another VF now for a long long time...

Just got the Platinum trophy for Dead Space, and damn what a stupid idea that was.. I love the game obviously, but having to play through a game 4 times to get all the trophies/achievements is a little ridiculous. Now I can work on my other acquisitions since then, mainly Fallout 3, Sonic Unleashed, and my ultimate time waster, Time Crisis 4!

1CCed it and got up to the end of stage 2-2, when I had a cheap death before the boss and could not handle the bullet swarm unpowered.... :?

I'm going all the way through the series, and I think this one was a nice evolution to the first game. The boss rush and the last stage are brutal, but gosh it feels good to go through one of them unharmed!

Now for the SNES slowdown feast of Gradius III.

This weekend, I just started and finished The Legend of Zelda.

Yes, I used a walkthrough.

That game is amazing. Never had beaten it before. Now once I get done catalogging my whole collection I am going to start on #2. Hopefully I will be able to play every game on a portable, as I want to play the two they released for original game boy too.

Oh, I beat Superman Returns for Xbox 360 over break. Talk about movie game #13904810398, this game is so pointless and repetitive, it bored me to tears, but you get a quick 1000 gamer points and it was only 5.99 at gamestop so I added it to my collection.

Those early NES games (Zelda and Metroid specifically), I can't imagine how gamers were able to complete them without guides. Zelda is the better game IMO, but both games stonewall you with objectives like "shoot/bomb random block to proceed."

How the hell would I have ever thought to do that??

Oh, and if you thought Superman Returns was bad, give King Kong a whirl. I got it for the exact same reasons you did, and it was the least satisfying 1000 points I ever earned.

I really didn't know much about MGS before I picked up and played it, all I knew was that it was considered one of the best games on the platform and it went for £££.

I took a look at the GC remake and thought: "whoa! I know that place! But it didn't look that good when I saw it!", the PS1 graphics give MGS a certain cartoonish charm. I don't own a playstation two (well, I bought one about 8 years ago and sold it after 3 days) so I don't think I'll be playing any of the sequels. In my experience originals are always best (see: Jurassic Park, Back to the Future), I will watch some Youtube vids to see what happened to Snake though.

The game is Super Raiden for the PC Engine CD. I was lucky/persistent enough to loop it and get to the 10th stage a second time.

This port is cool, besides the complete absence of parallax, and the CD music is a lot welcome. The checkpoint system gets on my nerves - but anyway, that's how things were mostly done at that time!

I gotta try playing the MD version again to see how it compares in difficulty. My memory tells me the MD port is a lot harder, at least in the beginning of the game.

Eh, personally I don't think your missing all that much. I'm playing through Metal Gear Solid 3 right now, and it's a pretty good game, but I'm not to fond of how they departed from the classic style of gameplay.

Definitely though, the original Metal Gear Solid is the best out of all of them that I've played.

Well not missing much with MGS3 anyways. If you ever do pick up a PS2, be sure to play Sons of Liberty, its the best one in the series IMO. The story line is pretty dumbed down in 3, and like 16-bit I don't really dig how they changed up the gameplay.

My worst fear concerning this game was that the songs sucked. I'm not such an Aerosmith fan. Luckily I was wrong, and was very pleased by the set list.

This is however easier than GH III, for instance. I beat it on HARD with several 5 star achievements, and I think I'm finally ready to get back to the older games and see how my pull-offs turn out this time...

It makes me sad that the vast majority of Mega Drive players/fans are deprived from playing this shooter masterpiece. Excellent graphics and gameplay + levels are a lot different from each other. The soundtrack is also fitting, though not outstanding.

I like how the score in Eliminate Down is implemented just like in Thunder Force. It forces you to play it again in order to get the maximum number of multipliers after you beat the game.

Here's a bit of a first for me:

I plowed through Mario 3 using as few power-ups as I could, conserving them all for the big push through World 8. When I got to Bowser's Castle, I found that I had a hammer bros suit in my inventory. I threw it on just to see how long it would last, and I surprised myself by making it all the way through the castle. I took out Bowser with a few hammer strikes to the dome.

Never even knew that was possible, but then again, I was never able to hang onto my hammer suit through World 7 before . . .

I've finished Mirror's Edge. IF you look past the awkward controls and stop playing about halfway through the game, it's an excellent FPS-without-the-S. It's fantastic to see EA, of all people, producing a next-generation game where the primary colour is white, and everything's clean and you can almost taste the wind.

Buuut, once you get taken off the city rooftops and into a series of interiors where the 'pres butan lern where 2 go' button doesn't work, it gets very, very annoying. Too often I was left hammering the attack button while I'm getting butted to death by SWAT teams when you're stuck in the disarm maneuver because the gun didn't flash red at the 'right' time AAARGH.

My absolute favourite part of the game was Ropeburn's assassination - you're sprinting through the city rooftops past SWAT and CPF teams, tearing shit up just to escape *sigh* into the subway system. That's the only stand-out part of the game where you HAVE TO KEEP RUNNING or YOU'RE DEAD.

It's a shame that everyone besides Faith is American - I really like the character designs from the concept art. Jacknife looks better with long hair :)

Summary: the opening 'EA presents MIRROR'S EDGE' demo is the #2 coolest part of the game

Armed Formation F for the PCE is a quirky little shooter that could have had its colors better handled. Rarely have I seen so many colors together in a way that it surely gives you a hard time distinguishing bullets from backgrounds and walls from free pathways.

Most bosses in the 7 stages are wimpy. Some of the tunes are excellent and catchy sci-fi material though. It's not the best non-famous vertical shmup out there, but it is mildly fun.

I loved this game, but I can understand the complaints of repetition. Thankfully, you don't need to do all the missions to complete the story, but it's good for fleshing things out. Leaping from rooftop to rooftop like a medieval Batman was awesome.

Beat it on medium. Not bad, but I still don't understand how anyone prefers this series over Rock Band. I totally suck, but I find GH to be much harder than RB, and I doubt I'll be able to play through this on hard (don't have the inclination to learn all the songs). Beat in ameatur so that I can go back now and upgrade weapons for runs in normal and veteran. Overall, it's a great game, but it's the most unRE-like game of the entire series, and part 4 shits all over it. The whole Plagas zombie thing just doesn't have the charm to me that the lumbering zombies of old do, and the game was more action than it was survival horror.

The AI also sucked, especially during the final boss battle. Sheeva is best when she has a tricked out gun with unlimited ammo and nothing else but healing items. Put her in attack mode and she rushes Wesker, only to be tossed over the cliff into the lava. Put her in cover mode and she does absolutely nothing. Bah.

I really enjoyed this game, and the story was excellent. The only things that irked me were the horrible walking animations during the cut scenes, and the Star Destroyer level. Seriously, using the Force to take one down sounds awesome on paper, but the execution here sucked hard. Kill TIEs, pull SD, repeat. Lame.

I'll probably go back and finish maxing out my Force powers and finding holocrons, and I plan to buy the DLC as well. Great game overall.

Finally got around to beating RE5 (on "normal.") I hadn't anticipated what a ammo drain the last chapter was going to be, so I was pretty dry by the time I got to the last stage of the looooooooooooong final boss fight. It took me a couple weeks to muster up the motivation to fall back to a previous chapter to build up my arsenal.

I just finished Metal Gear Solid 4. It was pretty good, but I have to say that the cutscenes were very long, and because of that I wonder if Hideo Kojima forgot he was directing a game and not a movie at some points. But at least the game tied up a lot of loose ends.

I beat Sonic Adventure, finally. Even those idiotic, borderline unplayable Big the Cat stages.

Yes, try to compete with the in-game fishing of Ocarina of Time with a setup that doesn't even come close to being as fun, with a character that NO ONE likes. Well, no one but those jackasses at Bioware.

I am amazed by a general inability of the plot to stay coherent. Events and dialog actually vary depending on who you play as. But I guess each character just tells their own version of the events(this explains why Knuckles is a tough guy in his version, but a pushover loser with a brain the size of a peanut in everyone else's story). Beat all the characters and you get a final mission, which is nothing but a generally simple boss fight.

Nothing terribly difficult as far as games go, to be honest.

I also beat Beyond Good & Evil. Great game, pity it sold poorly. The sequel has officially been announced, but Ubisoft wants to dumb it down for "casual gamers". In other words, watering down a great game to punish those of us who DID buy the game, hoping people who are addicted to Peggle will buy the sequel if they make it easy enough.

I completed Sonic and the Secret Rings today. Once you memorise the final boss' rhythm it's mustard, but until that point I was about ready to chew on the controller. If you could control Sonic with the more traditional analogue stick I could have breezed through the game :(

What a strange ending, though. Probably more time went into making the lush, full level environments so you can go through them again and again, then when it came to making the final story everyone went http://www.sega-16.com/forum/images/icons/meh.gif and took the afternoon off.

runblebee and Tomoya Ohtani did a brilliant job making Arabian Sonic music, too - the sitars and let the speed MEND IT MEND IT MEND IT is very, very catchy :)

Finally beat Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords last night.

I've been playing this game for weeks and had a genuine love/hate relationship with it all the way to the end. For a puzzle/RPG hybrid, it certainly was weighted more on the RPG end of the spectrum (which is not really my cup of tea). I was determined not let it become one of those "Eh, I'll come back to it" games, though.

Now that I'm finally done with it, however, I just might end up picking it up again in the future.

A good JRPG that suffers from all the ills typical of JRPGs: cliched plot, horrible character designs, and wooden dialogue. The game sort of falls apart at the end, with the bullshit last dungeon and lame last boss fight.

I still like to play these types of games now and then, but I don't see how much more life the genre has left in it. Japan has basically been recycling the same formula for more than a decade, and it's really showing its age.

At last, someone had to say it... I was thinking the whole internet was drooling over this formula of crazy hairstyles, androgynous men and "save the cheerleader, save the world" type of "storylines" that the Final Fantasy/Lunacy-type of games have. I don't mind them, of course, as long as they can increase the sales of a console (like PS3 and FF) and the rest of us can enjoy some more third-party support and proper games :p

Dead Space is on the 'beaten' list - what an utterly creepy, intelligent game. I'm not normally a fan of survival horror, but the game's sheer atmosphere sucked me in completely.

[edit] As for the prequel film, Downfall? Don't bother, I rented it from the Xbox Marketplace. It's the game, as written by a thirteen-year-old Metallica fan who'd guessed what the game was about from Wikipedia - nothing from the audiologs within the game is mentioned (hell, one of the major characters in the game is missing), the animation is ropey and the voice acting is awful in parts.

DoDonpachi - Sega Saturn

I can almost 1 credit the whole thing on Saturn mode until the final, final boss, then I just start chuckin' virtual quarters at it. My goal was to 1 credit the whole thing but that boss, really fucks with my head :daze::daze::daze:

Back on topic, I completed Earthworm Jim 2 last weekend. I finished it once before, many many years ago when I first rented the game. Somehow I'm much more inclined to finish games when I'm sitting in front of a real Mega Drive than when I'm using an emulator.

Awesome game. Slicing and dicing bad guys never got old, and the platforming added a nice and subtle mix to all the bloody action. I'm going to go back for some of the kill achievements, but I won't go through the whole game again on hard, as it's a rental. Maybe I'll pick up the PS3 version when it's cheap. Gotta get those trophies! __________________

I was actually presently surprised by the demo for Wolverine. I was excpecting meh since its got that whole game-based-on-a-movie aura to it, but from the intro cinematic to the end of the demo it kicks ass. I'll definitely check it out once my manager lifts the ban on game rentals.

Just finished Sonic Unleashed.

...would I lose all my e-cred if I said I actually enjoyed the game?

First impression - the graphics are fantastic. Even the non-prerendered stuff looks great.

Second impression - controlling Sonic during the 'speed' levels is something you have to learn, but it's definitely a rush holding down X to blast through hordes of Eggman's robots.

Third impression - I'm glad Sonic Team went for a more wry, tongue-in-cheek feel to the game's storyline - as opposed to the great big dramatic storyline of the previous game. Chip isn't a Scrappy-Doo character! Joy!

The credits made me laugh, too. Love the Chao hand-puppets.

Soundtrack is, as usual, very much up to par: Dah, dum, dah-dah-dah-dum... :-) Endless Possibility isn't a Crush 40 song (yet...), but it's a brilliant Sonic theme nonetheless. Long live hair-metal!

The one downfall I have is the same as the previous game: I'm not a fan of the 'open world' gimmick. It worked well in Sonic Adventure, but when you have to collect medals to unlock further levels it gets tiresome. I don't like being shown level entrances and being told 'you can't go there just yet!!

But overall, it's just a happy little game where you get to go really fast, smash some monsters' heads in, and beat the Big Bad at the end as Super Sonic. And that's what it's all about. Thumbs up :-)

[edit] Oh yeah - the final boss fight reminded me of the NiGHTS water level. Probably coincidence, but I noticed nonetheless!

Very good game overall, but it falls far short of Sony's hype of it being a religious experience/second coming. I saw nothing that moved the genre forward, but to be fair, you don't really see that all that much in console FPS games overall anyway. I got this massive Gears vibe the whole way though, what with the whole Alpha (male) Squad, dynamic, pissed off black guy, etc. What disappointed me the most was that I finished in in 6 1/2 hours (on normal). Yeah, veteran and elite will take longer, but that's due to bullet-proof Helghast and not the overall lack of levels. Still, it's a solid game and an excellent PS3 exclusive. I'll be going back for the rest of the single-player achievements, but I doubt I'll play multi-player. I'm sure it's great, but deathmatch and such aren't my thing.

So, I'd have to say:

Gears 2 >>> Killzone 2 >>> Halo 3.

Rented it and beat in within 4 hours. A very poor man's Kill.Switch, it has you spend the entire game basically killing the same 3 enemies over and over. It's glitchy as hell (Terminators can kill you with a single blow from 10 feet away, even if you're ducked and behind cover. WTF?), and there isn't anything that impresses or even prompts you to keep playing, other than the easy achievements. I didn't get the one for beating it on hard, because the game is so fucking glitchy and cheap in that mode that I quit halfway through. There are no health items either. No regeneration until you reach a checkpoint, and your moron A.I. friends don't cure you either.

Pure licensed garbage.

Finished on hard with the good ending. I still have some shards to find (got all the dead drops), but I want to do an evil run through first. Awesome game and the best release on the PS3 for me so far this year. Excellent story and voice acting, solid gameplay, and really well done (aside from the typical sandbox game glitches).

Ugh. Horrible jump controls, shitty camera, boring ass missions... the list goes on and on. I did like the whole infected city thing; it gave me a Dead Rising vibe. The game was playable overall, but it's definitely a rental or $20 purchase, not a full price one. I traded it in and got $45 for Ghostbusters (PS3), which is awesome.

If you're a Ghostbusters fan (who isn't?), then this is the game for you. Every thing was done wonderfully: the story, voices, gameplay - it was all very solid and highly enjoyable. My only complaint is that it only takes about ten hours to go through it, and that's if you're going slow, scanning ghosts and looking for artifacts. I'm going to replay the missions to get everything I missed, and I hope to try out the multi-player (if I can find somone who doesn't mind playing with a noob).

Everyone should definitely play this game.

The story in this game is a mess, the stage order doesn't make sense, I played turtles in time afterwards which explained a lot. Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 (DC) - Abyss is fairly difficult, his first two forms are fairly easy but the last one is pretty ridiculous.

Rocket Knight Adventures (Genesis) - I originally beat this on the "Children" difficulty, because I'm a total noob. But I managed to beat the game on easy mode without using any continues, so theoretically I could have beaten it on hard.

Socket (Genesis) - This game wasn't too hard to beat at all, I found it to be very easy. Usually for a boss in this game the best thing to do is go on an all out offensive making it fairly easy to beat the boss, but the last boss actually requires you to strategize.

I've been noticing just that. After beating a level, it becomes ingrained in you. It just takes a while to find the nooks and cranies. Right now I'm trying to get passed the 6th level boss. Man, just when you think that ship's going to explode, it sends more projectiles, and different ones. Anyways, I do love this game. I've found a fondness for it I didn't see when I first played it. What I love the most is that there's nothing repetitive about the stage by stage gameplay, every enemy and level looks exquisitely unique. The graphics are great too. That is one feat you pulled, though, the most I've gone thus far without dying have been the first three levels and reaching the end of level four (by which time my lives are down to 1 or 0). It is one tough game, though. Without unlimited continues, there's no way one would have time to memorize each individual level.

Pretty short, but a fun game overall. I beat it on agent difficulty, but I don't know if I'm interested enough to do it on 007. I did go back and get the other single-player achievements I needed, since I got most of them on my first playthrough.

Very fun little family romp, but the difficulty seriously ramps up during the later levels. I don't see how a small child could actually finish it, as it gave me trouble in some of the more precise platforming parts. I got all the collectibles, but I won't be going back for the achievements for finishing each level without dying. Not bad at all for a $15 game.

#22.

http://media.ign.com/games/image/object/143/14320053/gi_joe_rotc_360_esrbboxart_160w.jpg

Not a bad game but a bit too repetitive. It was a rental, which is the only reason why I didn't unlock everything, but I may go back to it when it drops in price. No online co-op was a downer, but the gameplay is pretty fun for two people on the same console. There are some AI issues, such as enemies shooting through walls and not letting you even get up before killing you again on higher difficulties, but I had fun for my $5.

I just finished the single-player Ghost Recon 2 campaign. There's a fantastic tactical shooter under that retarded 'Tom Clancy's' label - taking it so seriously that the game is utterly cliche from start to finish. Your gruff, down-to-business character speaks in one-liners to the Stressed Army Chief In Ray-Bans before barking orders at either your OO-RAH squadmates or the AI AI AI SEÑOR Mexican forces that tag along for a couple of missions. Run from cover to cover, blast at the red diamonds, until finally Making The Ultimate Sacrifice For Your Country (fuck asking your squad what they think about being bombed to paste by friendlies), no wait we're bringing you home soldier oo-rah!

The online multiplayer is what rescues the game. Team battles are fantastic.

Lately I've been bearing down and trying to plow through as many of my unplayed games as possible, which means that I've only recently joined the ranks of gamers who have played through Metal Gear Solid and Tomb Raider (well, Tomb Raider Anniversary, anyway).

The latest conquest is Rygar: The Legendary Adventure.

I loved the NES game, so I was looking forward to playing this ever since I bought it nearly two years ago. After completing the game, it's pretty clear where the God of War crew probably drew some of their inspiration.

The most noteworthy element I took from the experience is that this game has the most laughably bad dialogue I've ever heard (and yes, I'm including Resident Evil).

Now I'm on to Metal Gear Solid 2!

Fun but not as fun as the original. I thought the gameplay suffered from being shoehorned into the Civil War storyline too. "LOTS OF CHARACTERS!" loses a lot of luster when half of them are cut off halfway through the game. The Fusion attacks were a whole lot of "meh" as well. I'll play again as a pro-reg team, but this is definitely a step down from the first game.

I enjoyed the original more because it was an original storyline. Part 2 is the Civil War story, so it's more linear. Half the heroes are locked, depending on what side you pick, and the lack of classic costumes (I'm a MAJOR '80s comics fan) really turned me off.

It's a great game though, but the original had much more fan service, which is what a comic-based game should shoot for, imo.

I think it took me a couple hours to get through Quackshot, all told. Maybe two and a half to three hours. It was quite a bit longer than I had initially expected. I really like the adventure game elements that they put in the game, I think it makes it stand out among the myriad of regular old platformers available for the Genesis.

I'd never beaten this, as Death would always make me give up. I finally beat him, but Dracula took me twice as long to beat. I don't know how on Earth we had the patience for this kind of gameplay back in the day. Simon suffers from the same "recoil syndrome" as Mega Man and Ryu from Ninja Gaiden do, and having to redo everything when you continue would have made me throw my controller against the wall had it not been for the miracle of save states.

Holy shit was this game amazing. Once again, an American dev team has to show the Japanese how to make a game. Take note Capcom; you've been out-survival horrored. This game shits on RE5 from such a great height that the turd kills on impact. The pacing, the visuals, the story, the Alien-esque "omfg, why is everyone dead and I'm alone?" atmosphere - Dead Space did it right.

Kudos EA. Now give me a sequel!

Beat SaGa Frontier, finally. All seven characters, 120 something hours, all told. Got to the "programmers ending" which was awesome. Why is this only the second game that has done this after Chrono Trigger? I mean perhaps there are more but I really think this should be a staple in RPGs. Same with New Game+, every RPG should include that feature.

Anyway, I love SaGa Frontier without reservation. What a fun game, great music, fun battle system, great character building... the story is lacking a little, but it's still a lot of fun. I kind of like how you have to "fill in the blanks," as it were. Oh and the various regions that you travel two are completely awesome. Probably the only RPGs I've ever spent more time on are Final Fantasy Tactics and Phantasy Star IV.

Awesome game that does everything the original did and much better. They fixed a lot of the problems from the first game, and about the only thing I didn't like was the braindead guards. I miss people screaming and running when I toss a body off a roof onto the street below, and even the guards didn't look up here when I dropped a guy right on top of them.

Finished on Heroic difficulty. I have to say that I wasn't really impressed with the game, as it seemed more of the same stuff we got in every Halo game before it. I don't know how the multiplayer is, and perhaps that makes it better, but the overall game itself was in no way worth $60. The campaign is way too short, and nothing new is tried at all. I did like the driving stages, and they made me nostalgic for the excellent vehicle stages in the first Halo. They were too few and over far too quickly, however, and it was back to the dark streets of New Mombasa, which is really the only environment used in the entire game.

I'm down for some firefight or co-op on Legendary though, as co-op is always fun.

I enjoyed ODST based solely on how I was a future-SAS guy who could possibly die as opposed to a 7ft tall, 1-ton, walking supersoldier. Halleluejah, no Flood either. No retracing my steps through a level, either.

That said, a) it would be nice if things went to plan in a Halo game - just the one time - and b) a mute protagonist called The Rookie? In 2009?

This game would have been perfect as DLC, not as a disc.

The games that I beat in 2009 (from what I can remember):

MegaRace (3DO): I won the game on Novice, but not on Hardened difficulty (yet). Best FMV based game that I played (never played Road Avenger, I might play it some day)
LEGO Indiana Jones (Xbox 360): 100% completion and all 1000 gamerscore. Very good game
Puyo Pop Fever (both PSP and Game Boy Advance): on the GBA I only won the Normal course, and on the PSP I finished both the Normal and Hard courses
LEGO Star Wars 2 (PSP): I did not achieve 100% completion yet (damn you PSP-exclusive Challenges and LEGO City), but I did beat all 3 episodes, and I found all 180 minikits
Twisted Metal 4 (PS1): with the help from unlimited ammo cheats *insert evil laugh here*. While TM4 is not as bad as TM3 (awful, awful game), it just does not stack up to the kings of car combat games, Twisted Metal 2 and Rogue Trip. Vehicle used: Pimpmobile (custom car, referencing an episode of Futurama)
Twisted Metal 3 (PS1): I had to use cheats on this one as well, because, without them, this game is IMPOSSIBLE. Seriously, who was the smart-ass that thought that adding physics to a car combat game would make it more awesome? And if they wanted to add them, please, MAKE THEM BETTER! A slight touch of the d-pad and you start flipping the vehicle leaving it upside-down! Vehicle used: Minion
Twisted Metal (PS1): yeah, I was on a TM marathon basically. The original, one of the best. Character used: Sweet Tooth
Smashing Drive (GBA): yep, I won the game. It is actually pretty fun, better than Gaelco's other known racing game *cough*Radikal Bikers*cough*. And the so-cheesy-it's-awesome music makes it better. Thumbs up to Raylight Studios for bringing it to Nintendo's handheld! :ok: And another thumbs up for their GBA port of Wing Commander: Prophecy! :ok:
Radikal Bikers (PS1): oh my God, I can not believe that I actually beat this game! One of the WORST racing games that I played. Frustrating piece of shit... unlike Smashing Drive, in which you could at least pick up some power-ups so that you could win, in this one you have to grab them ALL, if not, you lose. And they can not even do shit! Not even the turbo boost! And this game's cheesy music is not awesome at all unlike Smashing Drive. I demand you to listen to it:
NHW6hD-5emM
It's THAT bad
Super Puzzle Fighter 2 Turbo (GBA): very nice port! Best of all it has something that is not on the PS1 version: QUICK DROP!
Capcom vs SNK (PS1): bought all of the characters and the EX versions (of those that have EX versions)
Motor Toon Grand Prix 2 (PS1): very fun kart racer
Rogue Trip: Vacation 2012 (PS1): a very good hybrid between Twisted Metal and Crazy Taxi. Won on Easy difficulty. Thumbs up to SingleTrac for this game! :ok:
