ahhh its such a fun game,i have it. its a platformer ,kind of kiddy style but way fun ,You play as some kind of troll faced character that can Bring magic into stuff like towles etc he makes em" live and then you can throw those living thing at youre opponent and he can get invisible,You also can ride little platforms cars when yo beat the opponent of of it.Its really a fun game,In japan it cost 7 euro,something like 180 yen or so,dont know for sure.

Yup, it is a great little game. Too bad the Tarutokun game on the Game Gear was bad.

now thats a other kind of title.This one is a japan only game and way fun.Magical hat is with an arabian guy the stretches his arm to defeat enemys,Magical hat was Decap attack in europe its almost a replica of the game,But i prefer magical hat,it has a bit more colors and youre character you play with is a bit more fun.

That's Magical Hats. The Japanese version of Decapattack, based on Psycho Fox gameplay. Decapattack is the best of the 3 "Psycho Fox" games, IMO.

It's a pretty good platformer. It's only flaws is sloppy level design and low difficulty..which sounds worse than it is, since it's still very entertaining in a weird, japanese way and plays a bit like kirby or klonoa. Looks great too. You can find more info on the genesis collective.

Well to be honest I consider Magical Hat and Decapattack pretty much two different games. They're the same, only different. So Decapattack is the 3rd, Magical Hat the 2nd, and Phycho Fox the first.

Also that review of Magical Hat linked to by Winona above is insanely biased. There is no way that Magical Hat has better sound than Decapattack. I think it's just a case of "It was only released in Japan and American gamers never saw this version so it MUST be better because everything in Japan is better". Also the review is wrong in saying that the level designs between MH and Decap are different. There are only a couple of stages that are noticeably different in design and layout.

I played Magical Hat before Decap Attack, and I stand by my statement that the sound is a lot better in Magical Hat.

like if i buy em both then i dont have to deal with wich one is better right,if magical hat is better than decap is still fun right.Then i sett em" both on teh ARY,s most wanted list. :D.BTW it isnt about whos better its both for the sega,but youre right when jap people saying this one is better and it isnt,but they say it becuase the wester didnt see that exact version americs etc,Then that would be allot of BSh.t ,I shouldnt praise the Pal streets of rage 3 because im dutch and trying to say that europa rulezz by giving S.O.R 3 a higher rate,the Pal game is worser then the others, the genesis version is bether and bare knuckle 3 is the best. ;)
