I'm probably the only B.O.B. fan out there, but I was wondering if anyone else here liked the game. When I was a kid I would often rent the SNES version. I just bought the Genesis version off of eBay, even though I've heard that it's not as good. I was wondering if anyone could tell me the differences between the two versions?

P.S.: Even though Earthworm Jim is a better character, it seems as if they ripped off B.O.B.

I have it but never played it. I will, and I'll get back to you.

B.O.B. has a quirky charm to it. It's not outstanding, but it is fun, and often overlooked.

I thought it had boring, repetitive gameplay, floaty controls, cheesy graphics and music, a stupid main character, and the worst offense any game can make: no momentary invincibility after taking damage. Touch an enemy or an obstacle and your life will just continuously drain until you move. One-hit kills are less frustrating than that.

I feel the same way.

It's not nearly as good as Earthworm Jim, but I think fans of Jim should at least take a look at B.O.B.

It's kinda fun once in a while, but it needs more level variety.

I played it for a few days last year. It was nothing special in the least.

Surely you jest.

OT: How many posts must one accumulate before they can post new threads?

I LOVE this game! It was challenging, and it wasn't a quick beat either. It's one of my favorite games on Sega Genesis. I used to draw B.O.B. comic books in elementry school and share them with my classmates. Good times! I also got one of my good friends hooked on the game so much that he bought it for his Genesis too.
