Did you like Battletoads & Double Dragon? And how is it with 2 players?

BT and DD is my single most favorite beat em up ever made.

I freakin love it.

I think the review of it got an 8 on here, which is, to be fair, fairly accurate. But, it is the game that got me into Streets of Rage, TMNT: The Hyperstone Heist, et cetera.

I haven't play it yet but judging by the walkthrough vids on Youtube, it seems to have great variety of gameplay for a beat 'em up. I want it and am looking for a complete, mint copy.

It's fun, but expect lots of cheap moments and high difficulty. Wouldn't be a Battletoads game without it. Certainly worth having if you're a fan of either series.

Like most beat 'em ups, 2 player mode is better than single player.

I bought my copy brand new from Babbage's in 1996 for $2! :o

I prefer the NES version personnally. Fun game with some really cool moves. I love to grab these girls by the hair and throw them!

Much, much, much easier. The Turbo Tunnel in this one's a joke, and the bosses aren't much either, except for Roper and The Dark Queen. It's incredibly fun, and great for people who couldn't handle NES Battletoads.

There's no ampersand in the title. It's just called Battletoads Double Dragon.

I actually consider it to be much harder than the original Battletoads. Specifically, the Asteroids-style level is damn near impossible.

Double Dragon is pretty sweet. I grabbed my copy for $2 the other day. Sweet. Anyway, I can't seem to beat up a guy without him exchanging blows with me. I beat up about 3 guys before I loose a life.

I liked this game a lot.

The only thing is that this is just a battletoad game with Jimmy & Billy Lee in it. Which is really cool.

The thing that pisses me off though is why couldn't the original Genesis version of Double Dragon be just as good? The Double Dragon port we all got was a horrible mess of a game. Just looking at Battletoads & Double Dragon shows how much better the original Double Dragon game could have been in they just spend some more time on it.
