View Full Version : Game Developer Credits
The more I do research, the more pissed I become at the appalling lack of game credits available on the internet. I'm seriously considering starting a section on the features page to address this, as we could collect those credits already listed on other sites with new ones we add periodically.
It would be a great resource, and it particularly easy to do with today's emulators. Once you beat the game, simply take a screen shot of each page of credits listed at the end and then copy them over for emailing.
Anyone interested?

I definately think it's something worth documenting. It would take quite some time to chug through the entire Genesis library, even with Game Genie-assisted emulator play, but I'd lend a hand with it.

I'd do what I can. Couldn't we just type up some of the credits from the game endings at VGMuseum?
Sure, we only need the credits, not the actual endings themselves.

The timing of this thread was amazing. Just today I was searching the internet for the credits for Gunstar Heroes and a couple of days ago I was looking for the credits to Slap Fight and some other game, finding absolutely no results. This is a fantastic idea! I will be happy to participate. I say we should try to get as many games up as possible. Sega Genesis, 32X and Sega CD games will get priority of course, but I think it'd be great to extend the credits section to all Sega systems since many of the people who work on Genesis games either worked on Master System projects or went on to Saturn and Dreamcast projects.
Well, I think we should concentrate on Genesis, Sega CD, and 32X; being that that's the focus of the site. We could always link to places that have information on other games done by a person, but there's almost 1,000 16-bit games that need covered alone.

Fair enough. After I typed that post I realized I might not be a huge contributer due to my general dislike of playing games on emulators. I'll do it when I have to, but generally I prefer the real thing. Maybe I'll do Thunder Force 2 since everyone else thinks that game is tough. :)

An emulator isn't the only way to get credits. You could use a TV tuner card in your PC for example.
