Hot on the heels of the classic Golden Axe series, Sega unleashed Alien Storm upon the arcade scene. It was a game that attempted to add to an already solid formula, and overall made a decent attempt. The Genesis version remains a fan favorite to this day, and hopefully Sega will soon rise from its stupor and give us a proper sequel. Untill then, you'll have to get by with our review (http://www.sega-16.com/Alien%20Storm%20review.htm) of the cartridge version.

I don't know why the Genesis version is so much different than the arcade. Good game tho.

Yey, my review is up! :D

Yeah, it is a very nice game. However, knowing Sega these days, they would never make a sequel out of something that would actually sell.

Heck, I can see them making Dark Castle II before they revive a GOOD franchise they had on the megadrive.

Oh, and welcome to the boards Richied. :)

This game sounds pretty cool. I might put this on my wanted list.

As a kid, I always wanted to play Alien Storm. I had one of those "HOW TO WIN AT GENESIS GAMES!" books that covered it, and it always looked really fun.

I, to this day, still haven't played it. :P

Would that book happen to be "The Secrets of the Games" one? I've got that, too. :P

That title sounds familiar...did it have a bunch of black-and-white photos?
