XBLA - Virtual On

I downloaded the demo to try it out. I was really excited having already owning and completing the Saturn Version and Dreamcast Version. The Graphics look amazing almost arcade perfect, but when I was playing it seemed not right. The controls are horrible I could not even figure out a move I use to do with the characters the demo allows you to play..even just boosting around the map to line up your next shot just blows. I realized these Wii Ware games, PSN downloads, and XBLA games are hit or miss and can turn a port of a good game to crap. If its not a port its complete Shovel-ware for example Rocky and Bullwinkle show game..

Which Virtual ON is it? First? Oratorio Tangram? Marz? And are the controls just the PS2 controls? (Or did they try to translate the DC or SAT controls?)

I heard a lot of people didn't care too much for the DC controls. Maybe they carried them over to the XBLA version.

I think they were like this..oh and I believe the title was Oratorio Tangram

A=ground boost
Y=Lift Boost
RT= gun
LT= Secondary weapon.

I dont think using the two analog sticks together worked, but then i didnt try it. I will give it try since its suppose to be 'ARCADE' tonight

Also I didnt look for what the console if any on the backs were like a Saturn or DC

It's the 5.xx version, the exact same as the Japanese arcade release. I think.

Everything's mapped to the 360 controller's dual analogue sticks and the shoulder buttons & triggers. It's re-mappable, so if you're used to the DC's analogue & face button scheme you can use that. FoxHound, have a play around with the control scheme if you're finding it difficult to move around. It's most certainly not shovelware though!

VOOT is definitely Marmite, you either love it or hate it. Like Rez. voot is not really my cup of tea to tell you the truth =|
