View Full Version : Interview: Michael Mendheim
Back in 1993, Senator Joe Lieberman was on a crusade against violence in video games. As he pummeled Night Trap and Mortal Kombat, he inexplicably missed out on a game that had violence as its center theme: Mutant League Football. I think it was because he was secretly a fan and didn't want to spoil his Deathskin Razor's perfect season by having to call for the game to be taken off of store shelves. Don't worry Liebby, your secret is safe with us! The game has a ton of fans, and Sega-16 recently chatted with its creator, Michael Mendheim. Read our Q&A session (http://www.sega-16.com/Interview-%20Michael%20Mendheim.htm) for some cool details on its inception.

God I wished a Mutant League Baseball/Basketball/Soccer(Football) game(s) would have come out. These games were much more fun than the real football games.

oh how I loved MLF. I would love to see a sequel I'm glad he thinks there might be one. In some ways its to bad that EA owns the rights because it would be the perfect game to make for another publisher since EA owns the NFL license.

Last time I played Mutant League Football...was during 2nd hour physical science, the day before Christmas break. A friend brought in a Nomad to school and an extra controller. I loved it. Before that, I believe the only one I played was ML Hockey, which I also enjoyed.

Melf, A lot of the links you have within your articles are broken on this site. Do you remove them after a short period of time?
You mean the forum? I haven't updated the links in each thread, as I was simply exhausted after the redesign. I still have to get around to it.
All the links on the main site should be working though.
