View Full Version : Genesis Power Battles: Pulseman vs. VectorMan
It seems like our readers just can't get enough of our Genesis Power Battles series, and that makes us very happy. We hope that reading about two 16-bit stars duking it out is as much fun to read as it is to write, and since it's just so much darn fun, we've another installment already lined up for you! Volume three (http://www.sega-16.com/Feature-%20Power%20Battle%203.htm) has the Genesis legend VectorMan going toe-to-toe with the electric hero Pulseman. Check it out to see who had the edge.

I'm not a giant fan of either gme, but I agree with the verdict. I just can't get into Pulseman and the character himself seems rather... meek.

Pulseman had potentional, but it wasn't as good as everyone made it to be.

I really enjoyed Pulseman but it was just a bit too easy. Other than that I thought I really love the style and the idea behind the game and I got into the gameplay after the first level or two. It seemed like the Mega Drive's answer to Mega Man 7 crossed with Sonic.

I'm a little biased here, as I've only ever played Vectorman...but c'mon, there's barely a fight he COULDN'T lose, when you consider it.

Pulseman came before MM7.
Okay but megaman overall came before pulseman, since pulseman is a bit ripped of megaman. But Pulseman is a great game with some catchy bass tunes,Fun and futuristic.Vectorman is more origenal and not so typicall for a game Hero, but vectorman looks a bit slow since he is just a robot,Pulseman looks faster and looks better,i gett why people say pulseman is a rip of megaman but still that doesnt take the game,s fun away,I give pulseman a 9,and vectorman a 9,5 for its awesome presentation.
