I got a Model 2 Genesis, 32X, a controller, all the hookups, and one of those spacer deals for only $5 at Salvation Army. This never happens to me.

Righteous find. Is it all in decent enough shape?

Salvation Army rocks!
I got some good Saturn games there:
Clockwork Knight
Spot goes to Hollywood
Lost World
All complete and mint for $2.99 a piece. Salvation army is always a good place to check like once a month. One time I got a $30 CD rack for two dollars there. All I had to do was hose it down and sanatize it. Saved a lot of money really.
However, now that I spend a lot of time near the local Salvation army I'm going to go more often.
Damn dude, that's a major score!

After I spiffed it up with a bit of alcohol and a toothpick, it looks...minty. So that *is* a good price? I figured it was, at least compared to the $20 that a local game shop asks for the 32X alone, but I didn't know what the 'street price' was.
I'm overjoyed at how it cleans up the picture of my Genesis games! The blue bars in Wiz 'n Liz were getting ridiculous, but it all looks great now. =)
The only problem is that I don't have any games for it. >.>

Hey I only owned Doom for over four years, so don't feel bad at all.

I once found a Model 2 Genny at my local Goodwill, no cables or anything but seemed to be in good shape.
I didn't buy it. I'm such a genious.

A Model 2 Genesis that cleaned up rather well, all hookups for both consoles for five dolalrs is a great price. Think about it, you got a spare Genesis and a 32X for the price of just a 32X at a gamestore.

I'm also wondering about all this talk I hear about stereo sound on a 32X. Seems sort of elementary to me...
Genesis connected to 32X via the special connector.
32X connected to television via RGB connectors.
Voila, stereo sound. Am I missing something?
