Ever think of doing master system and game gear reviews?

Melf eventually plans expanding the SEGA-16's coverage to the Saturn too, no word yet though on the Game Gear or Master System. Heres a site though devoted to the Master System: Sega8bit.com (http://www.smstributes.co.uk/)

Agreed!

Melf, can we skip Saturn and go to 8 bit, there's no good site (Sega8bit included) that offers good 8 bit reviews, a Game Gear section would be so good since no one gives it the time anymore. It also goes hand in hand since all of Sega's 8-16 bit consoles are semi backwards compatible with eachother.

We could also partner with Mick AKA's Saturn site to get good reviews up.

Hey, if we can actually find someone to edit the database to include Saturn, Game Gear/Master System, etc. then we can have reviews for those systems and games. BUT, since we have no one to edit the database, we unfortunately cannot add any new systems at this time.

Anyone know how to do databases on websites?

well, a little bit, but it depends on which database or which file managing system is used. I'm by no means a pro.

I agree that expanding to 8-Bit systems first would make more sense than expanding to Saturn first, but it's Melf's site so he can do whatever he wants, if he wanted opinions which to do first he'd have a poll on the subject.

Sigh... some of us should consider placing our real names in the "About Me" section of our profiles in order to avoid confusion, at least Ken really should since he is the owner and proprietor of this place...

As for database editing, I'll ask around for help just like all of you should be doing. One of us is bound to find a good database editor. There's just so many useful features to add...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Melf :ok:

Melf is 5'8", 147 lbs, and about 200 years old (appearing in his late 20s in human terms). He changes his appearance from time to time, though he always appears as an elf. 1983's The Shady Dragon Inn describes his counterpart Peralay as "left-handed, blond, hazel-eyed, and large for an elf (5'8", 148 lbs.)." It says furthermore that Peralay's shield is decorated with "the hunting hawk symbol of his clan" and that his sword, Gnoll-Cleaver, was forged long ago by dwarves.

Prince Brightflame is a strong believer in mediation, diplomacy and open communication, and thus some believe him to be naive. Charming and urbane, Melf enjoys good food, culture, and agreeable persons of the opposite gender.

Melf is vastly knowledgeable and experienced. He specializes in Iuz and buried evils, and is strongly opposed to both Iuz and the Scarlet Brotherhood.

I am assuming "hidden evils" above refers to either spambots or Genesis Knight.
