unreleased MD-Genesis game: Battle Mission by Renovation

My old thread (http://www.sega-16.com/forum/showthread.php?t=4409&highlight=Dando) on unreleased and early Megadrive-Genesis games is now mostly worthless because most of the images are dead, because imagepup went down.

One of the unreleased games that seemed most interesting was the one called 'Battle Mission' by Renovation. It looked basicly like Operation Wolf set in WWII South Pacific.

I'm hoping one day a prototype ROM will get released by someone. Battle Mission looked kinda fun.

Was this a Sega made title Renovation was releasing here in the U.S.? Looking at the title screen, I see no mention of Renovation (Telenet?) on it. The graphics look great though, almost Neo Geo-ish.

Those screen shots remind me of Operation Wolf.

which brings to mind, why did they never release Operation Wolf on our precious Megadrive/Genesis?

Just when I'd forgotten about this one, you have to bring it back!

Maybe we'll get lucky, and someone will find a nearly finished ROM that Bratwurst or Playgen can give the repro treatment.
