and all I have to say is WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS?

I have never seen a bad ending like this ever.

I knew that last boss was too easy.

That is some terrible commentary! Why doesn't the kid just STFU and let the game do all the explaining? lol

The last boss is exactly the same if you get the good ending. I actually went through the trouble of getting all the Chaos Rings, and the only thing that changed was the background in the credits.

Oh, I didn't mean the boss, I meant the ending itself. Now what I'm trying to do is get all of the Chaos Rings. It's actually a pretty tough feat compared to getting all of the Chaos Emeralds.

I played through Knuckles Chaotix only one time and never bothered to play through again collecting all of the chaos rings. I've never actually gotten a good ending in any of the 2D sonic games...

I've got the good ending in Chaotix one time and it was worth the time. The song, playing under the credits in the good ending is definetly the best song in the game.

Why the hell would you need a walkthrough for Chaotix?

Never saw that ending before, forced myself to get all the emer.. time sto... chaos rings the first time. It's not so bad, as long as you can live with the knowledge that giant red metal-sonic destroyed the world because of you :)

I just fucked up my whole second playthrough of the game. With one level left for me to be able to get a Chaos ring left, and with one chaos ring to go, I fucked it up by putting it on auto instead of manual, lost on the special stage, and ruined the save file.

This game was basically proof that Sega was capable of making mediocre Sonic games long before Sonic Adventure came out. Most of the levels are simplistic and are lacking in enemies. But don't tell that to any of the "2D Sonic games were all gifts from God" people.

I totally disagree, I think that Knuckles Chaotix is a great game, the only thing is that it's lacking challenge in the regular levels. There's no lives or that many enemies. You get hit twice with no rings and just lose the level really.

The commentary is pretty hilarious. "If you are under 10 years old, were you scared when you saw that boss?" :D

Knuckles Chaotix is not only one of my favorite Sonic games, but one of my favorite platformers period. The reason people don't like it is because they don't understand it. Its not about running left to right and pouncing on enemies, its about puzzle solving by utilizing the guy you're chained to. I find it's a much better game if you play through with Mighty the Armadillo (Sonic for all intents and purposes). Remember as well, you can always hold the second player with the B button and it becomes just like any other Sonic game. Say what you will, but Knuckles Chaotix is as undeserving of the flaming it gets as the 32X in general.

I really enjoyed the game from start to finish. The music is outstanding for starters, the graphics are awesome. I like that there are 4 times of the day, so as you progress the levels always look different. The game play is a bit slower, as it's probably a good thing Sonic is not in it. It's a fun little romp, even if it doesn't pose much of a challenge. The bonus game with the hexagon tube is fun! It definitely serves as a nice gap between the 2D Sonic games, and the full blown 3D Sonic titles like Sonic R or Sonic Adventure. I def prefer it to the GBA or DS sonic titles. Did I mention the music?

It's a fun game, but I don't think it's all "Super Crazy Awesome Fun!" like some 2D sonic fans think. Look at it this way, you could find a lot of games far worse than this on the 32X.
