Meh, cannot blame anybody for hosting an ad or two on their site (I sold out a long time ago) why should Ken fork out his hard earned cash on top of his time and effort?

I see nothing wrong with it, as long as it is not invasive.

A forum I go on has a small area for Google ads on the bottom of it and it is quite possibly the most non-invasive ad I've seen.

I'll screen cap when I am not lazy.

The reason there is a Google ad in the search function is because the search function is powered by Google. There are no ads anywhere on the actual site though.

just use adblock to block the URL.

I would click on Sega-16 ads.

Everyone hates ads, but I think we hate having to donate via paypal even more.
