I found a copy of this in my local game store for £30! Is it worht getting? I'm not a big fan of FMV games but this one captured my interest, to say the least.

That's a rip off. The game isn't worth 5p or whatever that equates to in american currency.

For the last time, the original uncut version is NOT rare, just in demand. A handful of copies made it out the door, and I'm sure there is a lot of unsold inventory.

And there really not much different about the "uncensored" version. I have the original and the 32X version. They are the same with the exception of the intro which they reshot. In the original the guy holds up a Sega Genesis controller. In the new one he holds up what looks like a Colecovision controller. Also the guy has a patch of grey in his hair. Also, the hardcore full-frontal nude sex orgy scene seems to be missing. ;)

Actually, I think the 3DO, MAC/PC, etc edition had the same intro screen as the 32X edition.

What nudity? Many people say that there is no nudity in the original version of Night Trap. The closest thing you can get is the scantily clad women.

Night Trap is fun in a 'ha ha it's so cheesy I will beat it for the sake of it' way. Embrace the cheese, and it's fun to watch if nothing else. Oh, and I love the closing theme =)

I think the people who claimed it was a violent sexfest were either misinformed, or were playing a different game entirely. One of the senetors in this documentary claims the idea of the game is to trap and kill the girls. I don't know what version of NT he has, but I want it.

Night Trap is a great game, but maybe not worth 30 pounds. Get it on eBay cheaper. It's a pretty funny game. Probably one of the best I ever got for the Sega CD.

It's one of those games that's so bad, it's funny. Yeah, I recommend it, but only if it's like $19 or less.
