So, what did you all get for Valentines day?

Is there even a point waiting for mail anymore on valentines day for me? I never get any valentines gifts of any variety ever. To know that SOMEONE cared for me at least a little, enough to spend a small amount of money on a cheesy card would make my day, but yet again my day is not made.

I know, but it is sort of a kick in the teeth. All the commercialised advertisements assault you with it all and in the end of the frenzy I'm always left empty handed.

I gave my wife a simple box of mixed chocolates and a funny card. She gave me....things I cannot divulge in public. :p

We don't believe in huge gifts and all that pressure. A simple something is enough for us.

I was going to give the girl I used to have the hots for recently something, but since she's such a jerk about these things I didn't bother.

I gave my girlfriend a box of candy and a small toy pig. She gave me the continued assurance of having a girlfriend who actually cares for me. It's a warm, tingly feeling.

Well in my school we give out things called candy grams, which are Valentine's with candy and stuff, and being the idiot that i am i sent one.
