Anyone ever seen this Sonic?

I had this copy of Sonic 1 in the orig. packaging, but it had a 1996 Copyright and a ESRB rating. I paid $20 for it at ames in 1996. It should be in texas right now... because I gave it away to a neghibor and the family it went to was in Texas.

It wasn't this packaging:

Also, the manual wasn't so cheap. That and the ESRB stuff wasn't a sticker or anything. Anyone else ever seen it?

It's a late American rerelease. Interestingly enough, I've seen it turn up in my local GameStation for £10, marked 'import converter required', fools XD

I find it funny there was a Sega Classics release and this release in the older packaging, but with different copyrights.

Do any of guys have a copy? If we could get a dump of it, it can be compared to the original, to see if there are any other differences.

It's just a packaging diffrence. There is no diffrence than any other sonic.

The Sega Classics, and the 1996, with orig. packaging are not any different.
