Thought I'd start one of these topics up because I have been visiting this site too much.....Case in point, last night I had a dream that I walked into a pawn shop and found a mint condition Model 1 HDG Genesis with a mint condition 32x attached for $3.99.......I remember thinking in my dream I couldnt wait to get home to post this in the deals section.......

I lost count of the number of times I have had dreams about vinyl records. It's always really disappointing when you wake up. :(

I had basically the same dream! Minus the 32x. I remember (from my dream) finding a bunch of game systems just buried at some shop! Thanks for helping me remember that dream!

But that doesn't say anything about my Sega-16 obsession.. too much... But it's always minimized!

That's hilarious. Last night I had a dream I was in a record shop and found a mint copy of Snatcher. Then as I turned to leave I saw a 32X in a shopping bag in a pile of junk.

Too bad it was a dream. The spacer was in there too. But I have those dreams all the time. I usually find NES prototypes or very rare games. Many years ago I dreamt I was in a Superstore (wtf?) and I found a TON of rare NES games. Anyways, I realized it was a dream so in my dream I decided to use my ultimate power to bring even more games back with me into the real world in exchange for my bedding. Somehow it made sense at the time. Regardless, it did not work.

I also had a nightmare once where I went into this crappy game store and they had NWC 90 Gold for sale for $2 and I had $0.25, so I stole it and got arrested!

But that was not too long after I missed an $6 NTSC copy of Stadium Events by about 20 minutes because I had to go home and grab cash.

Weird... I recently had a dream that I found a HD model 1 too. I dunno if it was last night but I remember the console was covered with tape residue and the font that said "Sega Genesis" was a lot different than the actual one. It was a random dream that didn't make any sense, but I guess that's most dreams, huh?

I actually have had 2 dreams related to the genesis in the last few weeks.
1st one was that i brought home alot of genesis games, i forget the titles (proabably made up games lol)
last night I dreamed that I was at this guys house and he had endless drawers of genesis games (carts only lol) and other system carts.
It sucks when you wake up and realize its just a dream lol.

I have had a lot of dreams in which I've discovered some very rare Genesis games that were previously unknown, and then turned out to be just amazing. All kinds of action and vivid colors, of course. What a treat to play these incredible games in our dreams!

I remember also really enjoying a dream in which I got to play a rare, amazing sequel to Blaster Master, which is an awesome NES game, that eventually got a terrible Genesis-only sequel. In my dream, the great sequel I played was like an amped-up BM1, and had nothing to do with BM2 at all.

I think every collector has dreams like this at some point. I've had a couple Genesis related dream finds, usually something incredibly rare/expensive with an improbably low price tag. I remember having one dream where I found a bunch of Mega Drive games (as in, the stuff you could only get in the US if you imported it) that were going for pennies, basically. I remember grabbing five or six, and I was pretty excited because they were all complete, pristine, etc. I was pretty pissed when I woke up! That's probably the worst one I can think of.
