I've been holding my breath for this news, and the news has arrived. Ryu ga Gotoku, the PS2 game that made an incredible showing at last year's TGS, is being localized and will release in North America sometime this year.

Hooray. . .
the one in-house sega game this/last year to actually have glowing previews/impressions won't get lost in the shuffle.
Good thing too. . .
This new 'Sega-Labs' segment had me scared for a minute (check sega.com for something scary).

Wow. A game programmed by Sega themselves? Hell yeah!

Count me in, as I will definitely be ordering it as soon as preorders open up for it.

And now it has been officially confirmed by Sega of America for a summer release in the US, with a European release to follow.

Summer? Alright! I've played the Japanese version and it is NOT LIKE SHENMUE! But that's OK because it is still a good game.... if you can understand what's going on.
