A sad question about Game Gears

My game gear just died due to bad caps. I am terrible at soldering, so my sad question is, will all the Game Gears be affected by bad caps sooner or later?:(

I ask this because I heard somewhere that the Majesco rerelease does not suffer from this. Is this true?

Yeah they'll all be failing eventually. They are a cheap fix though and plenty of people can fix them so there will always be game gears around so don't worry.

ALL GGs will "die" because of dead capacitors, and most SNES will get shittier and shittier sound because they use similiar kind of shitty capacitors in their sound parts.
The GGs will not die, they just go into a coma, once you replace capacitors, things work like new, unless the leakage has not corroded the traces into nothingness.
