Note 'a' black suit, not 'the' black suit. Doesn't look very organic to me. Is this confirmation of Venom being in the third movie? A storm is also mentioned which will probably tie in with the plot, there's no way in hell they're going with the original symbiote story.

Huh... if that's going to be the black suit they use for the Venom... then I hate them. It's already clear that Venom is going to be in Spider-Man 3, and there's also no other reason he'd be wearing a black suit.
Part of me wants to believe that picture isn't the final version of the black suit and just an eyecatcher to throw out and make the fans squeal.
Venom is in part three, and you know who plays him? Topher Grace....
....that's Eric Foreman from That '70s Show.
I kid you not.

I already heard that actually but I forgot about it because part of my brain died at that moment.
But...doesn't he just look like he could kill Spider-Man?

Great zombie Jesus, they're going with the Ultimate Spider-Man-esque skinny-teenage Venom. Maybe he'll invent & use webshooters...

This casting decision deserves a mighty hurling of feces, preferably rich and steamy.
And to think I was depressed when I saw this production photo of X3..

IIIIIIIII AAAMMM IIIIIIIIIRROOOOOOOONNNNNNNN MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANNNNN
...has he lost his mind
can he see or is he blind
canhe walk at all
or if he moves will he fall...
I know, I know, wrong super hero, but still... that's what the pic reminds me of. A song called "Iron Man".
The CG Colossus from X2 was better than this.

Well we already saw Colossus in X2, at least briefly. I don't remember him being quite that cheesy though. It seems X3 is going to be the campy one since the other two have been pretty serious. X2 started the problem of having too many characters and not enough time to focus on all of them, a similar problem that the Comics suffered in the 90's although that was at a more extreme scale. X2 was basically "Wolverine and Rouge the movie with some other guys that have super powers too" and I'm afraid they're compounding the problem by adding more characters to please the fanboys who will no doubt cry when their favorite character is added but gets almost zero screen time and has inconsistencies to the comic version.
Don't even get me started on Iron Man. At least they have him looking better than he does in the Ultimate Comics in that new Ultimate Avengers cartoon movie that's coming out. I'm afraid to see an Iron Man movie given the rumors about the script drafts that I heard.
I think the Super Hero movie trend is going to start dying out again for a while. Super heroes always pop up, then people get sick of them and they go away, then in another five or six years they pop up again. Spidey 3 and X3 may just be the end of the trend for a while unless they're as spectacular as I hope they'll be but with pics like that you can't help but worry. I guess you could argue that DC will keep it going with the new Superman, and I'm personally hoping for a sequel to Batman Begins.
I can never forgive Hollywood for what they did to Dr. Doom. I'm still disgusted about that.
More to ruin your day!

I wonder how they're going to explain the Symbiote. The Marvel movies have been trying at all costs to avoid doing anything that involves extraterrestrial life.

The Venom costume in the Ultimate Spider-Man storyline was created by Pete & Eddie's fathers.
Melf, that Juggernaut picture ruins my day every single day I look at it.
