The only ones I've played are Fantastic Four on PS1 and Guilty Gear Judgment on PSP. Does anyone know any others, and if they were good enough to play?

Guardian Heroes. Duh?

There's a few nice ones for GBA. Double Dragon Advance, River City Ransom EX, Gekido Advance, Advance Guardian Heroes, and TMNT in particular.

Does MUGEN count? If you're a l33t h4x0rz, you can make it into a beat em up.

Christuserloeser is an administrator over there, so direct all your sexual favors his way if you take a shining to that mod scene.

Advance Guardian Heroes is okay. Just okay.

No, Mugen is a 2D Fighter, not a Beat 'm Up / Brawler.

Yes it is.

Personally i'd like to mention "The Warriors" for PS2/Xbox and "Mortal Kombat Shoalin Monks"
both are great 3D beat 'm ups that show that the transition to 3D can be done.

Castle Crashers for Xbox Live Arcade is a very fun 4-player coop beat 'em up with RPG elements, and is as 2D as it gets.

Die Hard Arcade 1 and 2 and Zombie Revenge.

3 Kick ass games that proudly carry the mantel of Beat-em-up while adding some new stuff to keep it fresh. Wish they made more of them instead of crappy, boring ones.....Ya, I'm looking at you Re-make Turtles in Time and The Warriors!

I'm still kicking myself for trading in Zombie Revenge......

Tokyo Beatdown for the DS is supposed to be good (although I have yet to play it personally).

Have you ever played the new game boy Double Dragon? I heard it was pretty good.

And what do you think of X-Men: Reign of Apocalypse compared to the Genesis X-men games? Check out the link below, we are discussing it in the Genesis Does thread.

I find a lot of hate online for Tecnosoft's Nekkestu Oyako (PS & Saturn), but I find the game a blast to go through.

I'd love to have that game, too bad I could never find it when I had the $$ to get it.

That game is overrated crap that relies on being 'A Flashy Japanese Cartoon' more than 'good gameplay'

Slower than Streets Of Rage 2 & about as deep (gameplay) as NES "Kung Fu".

A Streets of Rage 4 with hi res sprites would be epic. They could have real club music in it.

Batman Forever: The Arcade Game looked fun (not that atrocious Genesis/SNES version)
