Star Warz
Empire Strikes Back > Star Wars (I refuse to call it a "New Hope") > Watching grass grow > Return of teh Jedi

Star Warz Prequels
Revenge of the Sith > Attack of the Clones > Being buried alive > Phantom Menace

Star Trek (real)
The Wrath of Khan > Undiscovered Country > Search for Spock > Voyage Home > massive diarrhea > The Motion Picture > AIDS > Final Frontier

Star Trek (next generation)
Bah! That one where they went back in time might be good if it weren't for that constantly smilin' Riker and all of the lame attempts at humor.

Indiana Jones
Raiders of the Lost Ark > Last Crusade > anal warts > Tower of Doom

Back to the Future
Back to the Future > bad gas > Back to the Future III > Back to the Future II

Ghostbusters
Ghostbusters > genocide > Ghostbusters II

Batman

Batman: The Movie
Is this the original one with Adam West, Burt Ward, and that foam shark? If so, it should be #1. So much cheese!

The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly --> For A Few Dollars More --> A Fistful of Dollars

Oh hell yes, I forgot about these. Best westerns ever.

Robocop 2 (Great pace, many plots, and great action) > 1 (Less pace and plot, but still good) >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>3 (Compaired to the previous two, this is extremely unbearable)

Not a trilogy but both Gremlins films are equally great. (Dark, but solid humor)

BTTF 2 (Better concept than other films with many things going on) > 1 (Great film all around) > 3 (Good, but lost steam)

Critters 1 (Solid Gremlins knock-off) > 4 (May seem like a low-budget Alien, but there is some decent acting) > 2 (Too much like the original) >>> 3 (Bad plot with even worse acting)

Troll 1 (Ridiculous film that doesn't get anywhere) >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>2 (So incredibly awful that there is no turning back)

Ghoulies 2 (Low budget, but is fun to make fun of and is a lot like Gremlins) > 1 (More idiotic and has more plot) > 4 (Scenes are out of place, but is different from other films in the series) >>>> 3 (Wants to mix Gremlins with any 70's or 80's sex comedy, but fails and looks stupider than Porky's)

Terminator 2 (One heck of a plot and plenty of action) > 1 (Takes a robot and makes it a horror movie) > 3 (Stale, but better than most modern movies)

Smokey and the Bandit 1 (Classic film with great chase scenes) >>>> 2 (Boring and too much of the same formula) >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> 3 (Much worse than 2 and I don't even know why this was even made)

Batman (1989) (Jack makes a good enemy) > Returns (More emotional, but is still great) > Begins (Not bad, but acting could use some work) > Forever (Not terrible, but different look makes this look silly) & Adam West Version (Incredibly cheesy film that is like the TV show) (Tie) >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Batman & Robin should be sent to the coolah (Insanely awful and the worse superhero film ever)

Indy Radiers (Great action and story) > Temple (Dark, but is entertaining) > Last Crusade (Satrical theme does not fit well)

Star Wars: Original Trilogy

Empire (perfect)>>New Hope (clunky)>>>ROTJ (tired, safe and cute; only the trinity scenes between Palp/Vader/Luke -- which could now be observed as the ultimate confrontation between three generations of the family line -- redeem it)

Prequels

Revenge (completes the circle through Anakin's fall; the hero/Christ and villain/antichrist of the six part saga are one and the same, as an avatar of the force's will to balance itself, within that the question of this part is whether Palpatine manipulated the force to create Anakin or the force manipulted Palpatine to that end -- by ROTJ we have our answer)>>Clones>>>>>Jar-Jar Lives

Back to the Future Trilogy

Part II (best mining of the time travel concept, by far)>Part I (perfect)>>>Part III (safe, tired and boring)

Psychotic billionaire in bat-suit movies

Batman Returns (Expressionist masterpiece; most psychologically incisive portrait of Batman)>>>Batman89/BB>>>>>>>>>>>>>Forever (gay porn)>>B&R (work of the devil)

Indy

Raiders (perfect)>>Temple of Doom (Spielberg's trophy wife and Long Duck Dong make me ill)>>Last Crusade (safe, jokey and cowardly in reaction to Temple)

Lord of the Rings Trilogy

Fellowship (easily the best editing, pacing of the three; only one that flows properly)>>TT>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>ROTK (shitfest)

Matrix Trilogy

Reloaded (conceptually the best at delving into what the Matrix truly is, and where or if artificiality ends)>>>The Matrix (overrated upon release, and suffering from some ridiculous gaps in stated ideal and overall theory)>>>>>>>>>>>>> Revolutions (horribly paced)

Leone's MWNN Trilogy

The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly (still comes in third amongst Leone's overall filmography behind OUATITW and OUATIA; a masterpiece of the western genre, and a trailblazer beyond that subsect to broader territory so far as visual/musical/thematic cues that conflate in such a brilliantly moody way that they stand out as a precursor to the music video, seemingly anachronistic to the time in which the film was made)>>For a Few Dollars More>A Fistful of Dollars

Alien Quadrilogy

Alien (one of the genuine greats in the sci-fi/horror genre; perversely sexual)>>>>>Aliens (dumbed down action; the aliens are no longer frightening, even though, or maybe because, there are twenty million of them this time instead of but one coldly efficient killer)>>Alien 3>>>>>>>>>>>Alien Resurrection (ugh)

Terminator/T2 (one's a down and dirty horror horror movie, the other an action vehicle; both great within their respective genres, though it's rather ironic that T2 is a secret remake of the original as much as it is a sequel)>>>>>>>T3 (jokey POS; last scene was a nice twist)
