Hey guys,

I know it's been a while since any of you have heard from me. In case you don't know/remember, I was a contributor to Sega-16. I submitted my Project Vagabond Part 1 ( http://sega-16.com/Project%20Vagabond%201.htm ) article last year. I've had a rather rough year, personally, but I'm working on the things that make me feel good about myself again outside of working all the damn time. One of those things is my knack for quirky projects. That's why I feel like working on Project Vagabond again.

The reason I feel like letting you all know is in case there are those of you out there that are still interested in it. Also, I would like to hear from anybody any suggestions or ideas or such on my project. I pretty much still have the whole project laid out, but a little feedback would be appreciated.

Well, it's nice to be back working on projects for my beloved Sega Genesis and rejoining all my fellow Sega fans.

Yo! Glad to see you're back!

I hope everything worked out for you. Project Vagabond was really interesting and I was hoping you'd see it through. PM or email me, as I'm more than happy to help out. :)

I'd wondered what happened to it! Glad to see you're still alive, man.

Thanks for you support, guys. It feels good to know there's still interest in Project Vagabond. It was just a rough year in my personal life and my personal finances were going down, I was losing hours at my job, hence losing money to spend on the project. After that the idea just lost momentum. I got another slightly better job and I'm working going back to school in the fall.

Mostly the problem is spending money vs. paying bills. I have a small car loan I'm trying to pay off first and I just got my tax refund and I plan on using that for the car bill and car repairs. I also need to save up for parts for a new PC. But this other job I have I make rather decent money at (when the business is good).

Well, the next few steps I plan on making will seem rather small, but I plan on updating with another feature laying out most of my next steps I'm taking on the project.

Once again, thanks for the support. I will keep you guys posted on my progress with Vagabond ( or at least let you guys know if I hit another roadblock in life).

Later.

Have you thought about hacking one of those PS1 screens?

Those Tototek carts can not hold a ton of games, the 64 Mega Bit = 8Megs, so you are limited.

I realize the flash cards don't hold all that much, but it's better than carrying around a bunch of carts. The carts hold about 25-30 roms on there. And I'm thinking against using a PS1 mobile screen and getting an LCD screen made for a car. It would be a more direct solution for anybody thinking about attempting the same thing.
