I recently bought volume 2 for cheap on eBay, I am wondering how many are in the series, and if the Megadrive Power Tips differ in a positive/negative way.

If your talking about the power adapter, the Mega Drive 1 uses a negative tipped connector, and I believe the Mega Drive 2 uses a positive tipped connector.

I think he means a book, like this one (http://www.trademe.co.nz/nz/auction-231554868.htm). I can see the confusion, though.

Oh gotcha.

But this leaves the enigmatic question unanswered: do the Megadrive Power Tips (BOOKS) differ in a positive/negative way?

I'm pretty sure there are three volumes. I have them all, although my volume 1 is hardback and the rest are softback. I'm trying to find hardbacks for volume 2 and 3, but I don't think they exist :(.

You don't have a harback vol 2 do you Nick?

Yep, there were three volumes. I own both 2 and 3 and, before I had the money to buy ultr@ r@re games from the ebay, would flick through wondering which awesome looking title I should spend my hard earned pocket money on.

Nope, I don't have the hardcover. Thanks for the answer guys, let me rephrase my other question: Is there anything unique(different games, tips, length) differences to the Megadrive edition of Power Tips?
