This article just says "PS3 games" region-free... so the PS3 won't play PSX and PS2 games from other territories? If it did, that would definitely entice me to get a PS3 early on.

exactly on the portables, as for the actual details of the PS1/PS2 games....they haven't really made that clear from what I've read...

I don't think it'd be like the old days, Joe. But still, the PS3 is all hype to me so far, so me a system running damnit!

I have the wonder if the launch titles will be as bad as the PS2 launch titles.
