Sega Genesis games on iPhone

It's official ... Sega is releasing their own app, allowing the purchase of emulated games on the iPhone.

This'd make more sense if it was on a console with buttons...

Though, I don't see Sega being very willing in trying to make this work well on the DSi (Low res screen anyone?).

Homebrew hacks shows it could work ont he much lower res GBA screen, and DS's 256x192 screen (I think) is much closer to the Genesis than the GBA.

Lack of buttons, tactile feedback really messes with me. Played a bit with my brothers IPhone but couldn't get used to it.

If they offer it on Android Market, i'll buy for what it is..most popular apps I see on apple store I find for Android. Looking forward to try it either way.

I'm agreeing with the sonic poster. There's no way that the game can be any good without a controller! The little D pad on the screen with the little button doesnt cut it.

I can just imagine some kiddy buying this app, who has never played on a real Sega, and thinking "My, weren't 16 Bit games a load of unplayable garbage!".
