The only good thing about student loans is that they disappear when you die. But yeah, those profs were nut jobs. One of them bragged about the fact that his kids were so sheltered that Looney Tunes made them scream and cry cause they couldn't handle the comic violence.

My wife is finishing up her PhD in Behaviorism (Autism) and one recognized professor said that academia is a bastion for people with social disorders like Aspergers to find work where it is socially acceptable for them to be ass holes. In my experience it is definitely true. I wish I knew that back then, I'd have talked to all of my profs a lot differently.

Yeah, they really were proud of how smart they were for switching too. I got an academic award once and they brought their wives, they might as well have been wearing burlap sacks and they looked like extreme cancer patients. I was dumb founded. Then to get saddled with all of this student loan debt because of them, well that just makes me wonder why I'm not one of those nut jobs that go on a shooting spree.

IMO lots of threads like that can somehow ruin the forum, at least, for some time. People should be discussing about Genesis games and related stuff, not bullshit like that...
Actually, I see little activity from the good old members. Some of them said to me: "There are no interesting threads lately...".

I just would like to see more good information, people helping each other, some interesting links, news/discussion about homebrew/hacks...
Sadly, some people prefer bullshit in all forums. Heck, they already have the "Off Topic" for whatever they want...
