Hey man, thanks for the rep!

Hi, thanks for the concern. Yes I did install it in an older P3 machine. I got the drivers working and it seems to be doing alright. Unfortunately I haven't managed to get sound out of it yet. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. I thought it might be from all those fancy fanmods for Windows 98SE I installed, but really who knows. I tried Rollercoaster Tycoon 1, a demo of Monkey Island 1, Day of the Tentacle (with the classic EMS memory error) and attempted a YouTube video, but the damn Flash player wouldn't install.

Maybe Windows 98SE was just acting up. I swear that OS has aged poorly. I don't remember it being so hard to get working. Since when does an OS get worse with age and lack of updates???

I haven't owned a DS for several years, but it does seem to be a quite the revival of abstract game designs. I have been hoping for XBLA to create a similar effect on consoles for... too long now.
