No, but it was much sharper with the Gen1/SMS RGB cable I bought off ebay. There was stereo buzzing on my surround sound system though until I turned off Prologic.
It's hard to tell, on my LCD TV, with the HDMI 720p upconverter, I don't see any scanlines, but the colors and filtering are way better than Composite or emulation. On my SDTV with the Component converter I can obviously see the usual scanlines but the colors are just terrific. Because my LCD TV doesn't support S-Video I'm planning on ordering RGB cables for my Saturn and SNES as well, I just wish that the DUO/R would support it natively. Is the mod relatively simple? Also, do you have a recommendation for an RGB splitter/switch?
I just wanted to say, I was dumb, you were smart, I was an idiot, you were good at thinking, I was, well you get the point. RGB is AWESOME! I was judging it from Gens and Kega primarily, and on my SDTV and LCD TV RGB looks freaking great! Scanlines make all of the difference I suppose.
Great to be back. I waited until my spirits were up. Looks like things have had a major visual upgrade (and I missed some hacking issue/drama???).
Great to see you back
Yours Tomaitheous. Not sure who else I could have been referring to. Aarzak's is obviously from Streets of Rage.
Funny, I thought his avatar was from Desert Strike or something.
