Awesome, this needs to happen so much. I've not backed anything on KS for a long time but I'm going in for this one for sure.

Wow, I had no idea there was such a thing as a Super Game Boy 2.
No more bringing back old titles for Sega. Remember Sonic 4? No more.
I like Toejam and Earl III, but those cutscenes were painfully cheesy, yes.
They'd have to have permission from Sega to include the old games.
That "concept art" is pretty funny. "No, HI-tops!"
I look forward to another Toejam and Earl game eagerly. I just hope it isn't shackled to some platform I don't have.
Yknow, when I tell people...
I polo soloed the most.

I remember pulling it off once while playing Sonic 3 on Genecyst and saving a state afterward so that I wouldn't have to do it again. I kept that save state around for a quite a while.
*high five for PoloSolo*
Sonic the hedgehog the guinea pig the fantastic golden onion ring eater.
When I was a kid and wanted to sell my Genesis collection, the Gamestop or EBGames (can't remember) I went to told me they couldn't take my copy of Sonic 1 because of the "NOT FOR RESALE" logo. This...
I run into a fair amount of these in the wacky world of playing ROM hacks on my Everdrive.
Yes. Love six button. Love wireless. Yes.
Wow, I watched that entire video. Pretty amazing to imagine having that crazy pirate stuff and not knowing any better.
Wonder Boy III is the best. If you haven't played it, your quest for an action RPG to play is at an end, I promise you, especially since you're looking for an SMS or Game Gear game.
Wow, the "Sonic & Asses" title screen.
Mega Man X on the Genesis would've basically been Pulseman, right? >_>

Yeah, I dunno about this one.
I think there's some truth to this. A lot of people are soured on the series. I mean, Generations kicked ass, and most people didn't seem to care.
Man, I remember Sonic Blast Man! That was crazy fun.
You're right about the NES, but I think the Genesis's impact is comparable to the PlayStation's. I think the game industry would look very different if Sega hadn't broken Nintendo's monopoly when it...

I don't agree. If you take these opinions in the aggregate, you at least get a sense of what's popular, which may not represent quality, but is interesting nonetheless.
I sold my first-run copy of Beggar Prince a while back. Once I got my copy of Pier Solar, I realized the only reason I'd bought "Beggar Prince" in the first place was for the novelty of a "new"...
I've played a lot of great Sonic hacks. Most of them have been mentioned here, but "Doctor Robotnik's Critter Capture" is another favorite of mine. You get to play as Robotnik/Eggman and catch cute...
