For a more realistic football game NFL 94 was the best game on any system for me at the time. Especially if you change the view to the side angle instead of the default.

The model one SCD s door is run with gears. If the gears are off just a little bit it screws it up. You said it does it when you insert a game so I would bet the laser lens assembly isn't coming...

Make sure you aren't using 4800 frequency when you convert the MP3s to wave. You should use 44100.

The game is awesome on the sega cd. It is one of the maybe 2 dozen games for the system that is worth playing.
