I don't see this as a problem. "back in the day" you had the manual and the odd magazine that maybe had tips and hints for a few games. And maybe you were allowed to use the Nintendo Power Hotline....

Pretty much this. They are awesome devices but the screen is HORRIBLE. It serves its purpose, but it's just not worth keeping stock when the replacement is so much better.

Yeah, saw that. but I use it on the go, and generally use the mega everdrive with it, so region locking is disabled via that pretty easy. :)

So I know about the battery and the Screen replace mods. Both are going to be done in the future as they are pretty much no brainer mods.

To me, this is not an issue of the graphics looking "too good". It's an issue of what they choose to portray. Look at the movie avatar (despite how you may or may not feel about the movie itself)....
