Flipping the switch on the back whilst the system is on makes it switch between 50hz and 60hz. I've done it while the system is on , you can see the image change a bit. The region mod actually works....
Well the mods once worked want there was still an NTSC disk in there. The switch on the back of the board is for 50/60 hz, the switch on the front is for JP/EUR/US.

Are NTSC systems rare ,that you have to import the PAl one. Here in europe they are common as hell. Hell I'm even gonna say you are more likely to find sms games and systems on a fleamarktet then NES...

Actually I haven't. This works for some games but not for all. Aleste for example I need to use the keyboard otherwise I can't use the special weapons.
