The Mega Drive was far inferior to the NES in terms of diffusion rate and sales in the Japanese market, though there were ardent Sega users. But in the US and Europe, we knew Sega could challenge Nintendo. We aimed at dominating those markets, hiring experienced staff for our overseas department in Japan, and revitalising Sega of America and the ailing Virgin group in Europe.
Then we set about developing killer games.

Oh boy, this ought to be good...
He has a new video up about the Swordquest games. I think it's one of his best. He doesn't lose his temper or even say fuck once (I think). It goes to show that he can definitely pull off a great normal review. It's mind blowing that atari was giving all of that stuff away. With inflation, who knows how much those prizes would be worth now?

I finished watching it a while ago. It's REALLY good. Highly informative and fun to watch. The whole competition really was epic. I guess Atari's massive (and highly understated) success explains how they could afford such luxurious prizes.
hmm that failed contest reminds me did anybody win that billion from pepsi years ago
or that chest of gold from the volvo pirates of the carribean constest?

It would be really awesome if they finished the series, even on a new console, but why bother really?

The funny thing about an oxymoron is, even if you remove the ox, there'll always be a moron. The Question Remains: Y?
