Hello out there we're on the air it's hockey night tonite
Tension grows the whistle blows-& the puck goes down the ice.
The goalie jumps and the players bump and the fans all go insane
Someone roars "Bobby scores!" at the good ole hockey game

Oh the good ole hockey game is the best game you can name,
And the best game you can name, is the good ole hockey game

2nd period:
Where players dash with skates aflash the home team trails behind
But they grab the puck and go bursting up and they're down across the line
They storm the crease like bumble bees they travel like a burning flame
We see them slide the puck inside, It's a 1-1 hockey game!


3rd period: last game in the playoffs, too...
Oh take me where the hockey players face off down the rink
And the Stanley Cup is all filled up for the chaps who win the drink
Now the final flick of the hockey stick and a one gigantic scream
The puck is in! The home team wins! The good ole hockey game!

Maybe the Roundtable should have themes for the games more regularly. Just a suggestion.

That'd be great, but I don't know if we'd get enough people each month. We usually only get 5-8 as it is.

I'll send in my submission later this evening. It feels more like a review than an opinionated summary though... How exactly do you need to write for the Reader Roundtable anyway? I'm a bit confused.

Just give your overall impressions of a game, in about a single paragraph. It can be a bit longer if you want to go into more detail, but it's not an actual review.

A single paragraph?! Damn, my write-up is definitely not that. I could shorten it if length is a problem.

Then again, I've seen other people put up long-winded stuff before... But probably not as long as mine.

I just noticed there is NO review for my selected game. Everything else uses their US names so it can't be a regional thing.
