I wouldn't be so presumptuous. It's not that I flat-out reject organization & unity in general. I joined this site, didn't I? I just roll my eyes at all the newcomers who blindly embrace Raul simply because it's popular and they want to fit in. I think that's pretty childish, actually.

So before you paint me as some sullen teenager sulking behind the gymnasium and trying to convince myself how much better I am than the popular kids, consider the fact that sometimes people have REASONS for the things they do or don't do.

Had you actually read my post, you might have figured out my position on your own...

When I first got here I didn't care for Raul Julia. These days I think it's a pretty fun joke following, if only to make absolutely ridiculous hearings on the glory of Raul Julia.

And for god's sake, adjust the size of your banner!

What's your Resolution set to? Mine is 1280x1024 and my banner doesn't push the page horizontally. If it's such a problem I'll shrink it.

Well, apparently not a problem when I'm actually at my computer. It stretches out the page when I use my iPhone, though.

So nevermind, then.

Well when I shrink it, it screws the hell out of the text and color. Not to mention the sprites lose their RGB awesomeness (except for the Cave Cat one, the far left. I'm thinking of fixing that one).

I had to increase the size of the text because the banner had to be shrunk down so far vertically.

Come to think of it, the white text does look better. I'll save that fix for when I replace the Cave Cat pic.

@Guntz: I actually think the Garfield sprites look better shrunken down a bit. You can't get a size between the two?

I can pick any size I want. Pretty sure currently the original is a hair short of 900 pixels horizontally. I shrunk it down to 700 and it looks like ass. Sorry but I really like pixel art, that's why seeing the Cave Cat pic on the far left is making me want to fix it, it looks horrible in comparison to all the other, extremely clean ones. I'm gonna grab a better shot of Cave Cat Garfield, fix the text and then do a different resize. We'll see how that looks when I'm done.

It took me a bit to figure out what happened to third, but oddly I can imagine a poker game where you lost third pick on your kickball team for the rest of time.

Genesis Knight is a heathen who never accepted Rául into his heart. He is an emissary of the False One and I for one wish he would return to Sega-16 to face the banning he deserves, mind you with Vinny T also light on the posting front, only the mighty Rául can save us from Genesis Knight and his ban stick.

Christopher Lambert was in Mortal Kombat of course and there was a discussion about whether Lambert or Raul was the best cast actor in a video game movie. Of course the main argument against Lambert was that Raul Julia used no special effects in the making of Street Fighter.

It turned out a great deal of people here are also fans of the movie Highlander. When the Temple of Raul Julia's Witness was formed everyone who didn't like Raul started to push Christopher Lambert as the alternative. Tanegashima was sort of the leader of the Lambert movement so it died down when he got sick and fell off the face of the Earth.

Personally I don't recall that happening either.
I'm not a bandwagon jumper, I usually do my own thing (the smash crew PimpTaxi for instance, I co created with Taxi) but Raul Julia is just that good.

I actually feel passionate about the whole thing.

Generally I'm standing on the outside and looking in, but in this case, with Raul Julia...I'm actually glad I joined.
