    Default Headphones for music production?

I have a set of mackie hr 624s which are very nice to listen to music with but i find that they make all music sound good (even the music with bad mixdowns) i was always against people using headphones for music production but i have changed my mind (living with my girl who goes to bed at 9 is the reason) Anyways can anyone recomend me a decent pair of headphones for music production.

I have about £300-£400 to spend.

    Thanks

AKG K-240 Monitor is what I use. Apparently there is a brandnew reissue of those.

I'm not a musician but I highly recommend Grado.

I'll second that Grado recommendation on that budget.

If you don't mind spending less, check out the Sennheiser HD-25-1 II. Mine sound great and have fantastic sound isolation (you won't hear ambient noise and others won't hear you).
