You don't need those - they're useless. Nobody's ever reported a problem from using a 32X without them.

I dunno. My 32x has picture (specifically) color problems when used with my X'Eye. I was told by someone that if I had those shields, the problem would be fixed. Something to do with how close the 32x sits to the Genesis, and resulting interference. Or something.

If any of you guys have an extra RF switch or AV composite cables for genesis 2 that still work, I will happily take it, because my RF switch is broken
