I love this game too. I like it much better than the arcade version.
I guess I'm in the minority, for me Shinobi 3 was my least favorite game in the series.
I much prefer Revenge of Shinobi and Shadowdancer, by a large margin.

Gets insane on the hardest difficulty. Havent finished it in that mode yet.
