Meh, I would've rather seen the Celtics win but I don't care too much one way or the other. I like Ray Allen but he basically handed the championship to LA.

I love college basketball, but I despise NBA basketball. Still, more than I despise the NBA, I loathe the east-coast bias that centers around sports in this country. The Yankees, Red Sox, Giants, Jets, Patriots, Celtics, etc... They can all go eff-themselves.

So... Congrats to the Lakers! Proving once again that the West Coast is where real champions are made! (Says the guy from San Diego, who has never won a championship in any sport )

It's a good thing but goddamn, fuck all the band wagoners. All I saw was people with Lakers apparel , little flags that you stick on a car, "GO LAKERS" written sloppily on and other acts of random douchebaggery. As soon as they won, I could hear someone firing shots in the air. Walk up to most Lakers "fans" and mention the name Elgin Baylor and all you would get is a blank stare or a "who?"
